Reposting from the last thread, since I didn't get many suggestions I liked:

I have room for one last character to make, and I need some ideas on what to do with it. What should I make for my final DS3 build? So far, I've made:

>SL120 Quality build, first char I beat the game with
>SL120 Quality/Faith hybrid paladin
>SL120 Int build using MLGS
>SL42 dickass thief Catacombs invader
>SL37 stealth mage themed Cathedral cooper/invader
>SL120 Int/Fai pure caster
>SL120 Str/Pyro Demon Fist user
>SL37 Farron Keep coop build with 27 Str
>SL83 Dex user, endgame area invader

I feel like I should have one around 50-70 for mid-game shenanigans, but I can't decide on a theme. I've been considering:

>Dex build with a samurai sort of theme, Easterner armor and katanas and what have you
>Dex/Luck bleed build, probably going full edgelord
>Dex/Faith Londor swordsman with dark miracles
>Str/Fai Millwood wanderer, using DLC weapons and focusing on HP regen
>Frostbite themed build with Friede's Scythe, Snap Freeze and an Irithyll weapon

I know the last one would be borderline worthless in practicality, but I've ran a poison build before and I've noticed hosts tend to play a lot more passive when they have a bar filling up, even if it's harmless.

What do you guys think I should do? Any suggestions?

40fth physical miracle caster, either saint talisman + saint bident or rose whip. If using the bident, you can only buff it with blessed weapon.

I've cleared the first two besides bosses, feeling like I might just pass over gank squad, Fume Knight i've tried and died to most, though i've got him to fairly low health, think i'm just too tired to play well

Already tried that and deleted the build because it was so terrible. Being a cleric in DS3 is suffering.

It depends really. Man-Serpent GS is a pretty solid choice all around, and offensive miracles outside of Wrath of the Gods and maybe Great Lightning Spear aren't really very good. You do get Sunlight Blade if you get up to 30 Faith though, which looks sweet and adds a ton of damage to your weapon. On the other hand, you could also consider investing in Pyromancy, which doesn't require any stats other than Attunement and is arguably the best magic class in Dark Souls 1. It's your choice really.

You haven't tried terrible until you've made a int/lck hybrid. Even skl/arc in BB was better.

All magic is pretty strong in ds1.

Sorcerers can one shot with soul spears and dark bead.

Faith has all kinds of WoG shenanigans and twop

What are best rings for Old Wolf Curved Sword?

Who, top middle? It kind of does look like him now that you mention it. It's actually a paladin build I've been using since DS2. Made him in Bloodborne and now in DS3 as well. Might go back and make him in DS1 sometime.

If you're actually using it, then just wear what you would normally. If you're using it as a backpack though, you'll want Pontiff's Right Eye and/or Left Eye. Maybe Carthus Beacon as well if you're feeling up for it.

Is SL60 with +6 weapons too low to get summoned in the DLC areas? Should I bump it up to 70 and +10 instead?

I agree with him. There should be shield tiers for parrying. Eg. You can only parry light weapons such as daggers with caestus, standard weapons such as straight/curved swords and axes with small shields, greatswords etc with standard shields.

I recently started playing DS2 again. I just cleared No Man's Wharf (not the boss yet) and can access Lost Bastille, I'm level 51. I'm not overleveled, am I?

+6's get matched with everything up to +9, I believe, so you'll be able to match with anyone so long as they haven't Slabbed a weapon.

The SL range may be your problem, but you should still get activity (I got invaded even while poking around at SL50). Most people are SL70 or higher by the time they get to the final boss, based on the official recommendation, but people who know what they're doing will go in lower.

SL doesn't matter, it's all about SM.

I'm near 150k

The amount of issues I had with BB's matchmaking has been far less than DS3, and thats including the bullshit that is the SRRC.

And, in BB, almost every weapon was a unique experience to fight against and plan with each weapon you yourself used.

DS4 works just fine in my experience.

I use a DS3 cause it's what I have. Also played DeS and DaS on the PS3 so I was used to it already.

Well I'm 125 so he's around that but he alters his weapons and armor stats and so on. Other then that. He's a pretty cool guy to play with.

I took the time to study champ gundyr's moveset and finally realized he is the most graceful/fluid boss in the series.

He flows into attacks and counterattacks really well.

Try studying DSA sometimes. The way that boss moves is fucking gorgeous, especially when he does that combo where he smoothly transitions a shield-swipe into his WA stance.

There's a lot of hitbox porn in that fight too, it really adds a lot to see his axe just barely pass over your head outside of a dodge and do nothing to you when it looked so close to a hit.
