Bonus information on UK speeding enforcement: You have to be mentally handicapped to get caught since by law all traffic cameras have to be posted.

There is no requirement for a camera after a sign though so most roads round here have the singes up and no camera, making the signs useless.

Speedos overestimate by about 10% in my experience, so for 30 your speedo will read 33, for 50 55 etc

Texas would get rid of speed limits if it could still get money from FHWA.

Its good idea to have fines that vary according of income because otherwise some rich people will never respect the speed limit.
Is it like in Quebec where only tickets from a cop can lead to the lost of your license or they just don’t care about innocent until proven guilty.

It would make sense but the fines are capped at £2500, and a lot of the richest people are on minimum wage with large dividend payments as that skirts round income tax into the much lower capital gains tax, also making this fine structure pointless.

It might get that bad in Ontarindia or BC. BC will impound your shit if you go over 40kmh the limit. I doubt any other parts will get that bad, well maybe the poor ass provinces.
