Yeah, that entire round was insane. I was also an IAA, and when the Captain realized I was getting the heads together to demote him, they temporarily set me to arrest. Then, when I returned to my office, my airlock had been destroyed, all the pens and paper were gone, and it was filled with sec officers wielding batons as though it were a security outpost and not my office.

This is the main problem with IAA as a concept, and why it's so misplaced in this game.

If there's no admin-backed or even game mechanics-backed basis for the function of a job, and that job relies 100% on anyone or everyone "playing along", it's completely meaningless and does not work.

IAA as it stands requires server rules and admin protection of its stated power, authority, and access, which it doesn't get.

Even if it did get it, it would still be shit because that's too much necessary handholding from meta-game elements.

The job needs to be reworked to not require RP play-along, and to not require admin intervention just to function at a basic level, or it needs to be removed.

To answer a question from the previous thread (it got asked a second before thread got pruned), you get timerelease pills from the premium section of the medical vending machines. Just put a coin in any of them, and it should pop up. I've barely ever used them, and you can just get away with having a pill bottle full of water pills and potass pills if you wanna use those.

How long have you played on this server? Permaban means "with indefinite length." That's not new. Carsh appealed that after a period of time (I think it should have been denied solely based on the date since it's only been just over 2 months, but the point stands) and Pain accepted it.
