/wtc/ is dead and /gwt/ killed it
I never even knew you could find that until I was in Blood and Wine, I'll try to remember to get it in NG+ too.
Liam Baker
Both are dead. /gwt/ died overnight too. Doubt we'll survive this night too.
Michael Phillips
Only together can we survive.
But some faggot just had to splinter off
Eli James
Don't know. At first, I was against it, but looking at it, both games are very differents and mixing them together isn't the best thing to do.
Maybe it's just the time for us to be ded until Cyberpunk comes out.
Jonathan Edwards
Then I guess I'll follow Trissbro to /gwt/ when this place finally dies.

I really like it when Geralt places his hand on Triss' cheek. They look so happy together. I also like how she makes Geralt smile. He is so sweet and gentle around Trissfu and says the most beautiful things to her :3

Jesus Christ I just started the Hearts of Stone questline and I'm already getting shivers down my spine. This gonna be good. This is already better than the main quest. You guys were right

Don't worry friend. I'll make many more Trissfu shots and webms to post here :3

And what story did they plagiarize exactly?

All of it obviously
Jack Martin
Since when?
Jose Ross
But from who? Who's story is it they stole? You provided no evidence of any theft other than some random guy on twitter saying they stole it.
At best Sapkowski is the thief. Conjunction is just a premise of the world, it is barely even mentioned in the games or has any relevance to the story CDPR wrote. They simply took that from the books and if Sapkowski stole it, it's on him, not CDPR.

I recently did my first playthrough of the entire series.
I am incredibly pleased with the insane amount of content the crazy Poles created and I'm sad there won't be even more.
Also I need to read the books so I can learn to hate Triss, right?
Brandon Lopez
>Also I need to read the books so I can learn to hate Triss, right? I read them and they made me love her even more.
Daniel James
Based on what I know I'm left with the impression Yennefer loves having power over Geralt more than she actually loves him. It seems Triss just has a deep love for him that she was too late to actually work to bring to fruition. So being a sorceress she did what her mildly psychopathic brain said and worked every angle to cuck Yennefer.
Joseph Davis
shit I missed some. Can't go back, can I?
Evan Gutierrez
Yennefer loves Geralt, there is no doubt there. She might be brash at times, but her loyalty and love for him are unquestionable. Also, in the books, Geralt only loves Yennefer. That's just how things are and that's a fact.
Geralt and Triss had a one night stand and Triss fell head over heal for him and tried getting it on with him again, often coming off as pathetic and lacking self respect. Geralt does care for Triss a lot and shows that on several occasions, but he only see her as a friend and he tries to turn her down as gently as possible. Still, Trissfu is mad about him, but in the books, she doesn't have a chance.
Games however, are whole different story :3
Jason Rivera
A Triss webm in Fableland would be magical
Ayden Jenkins
I'll probably do a Yennefer playthrough at some point honestly. For some reason it just seems like Triss is the option that leaves Geralt happier long term. I'm sure the CDPR writers would consider Yennefer canon though.

>Witcher Thread So why does everyone keep calling it (Witcher 3) the best game ever? When I picked it up at release, everyone was picking at how fucking god awful the combat was. Did they somehow improve that core mechanic or do people just ignore the terrible, unsatisfying combat for the other things the game offers?
Joseph Diaz
I did one Yen run, it was OK I guess, I don't have anything against Yen, but I simply like Geralt and Triss much, much more. Their interactions, chemistry and romance are far more to my liking and I quite enjoy seeing Geralt get all cheesy and romantic with Triss. To me, he just seems and acts so happy with her.
I prefer how he behaves around Triss compared to how he behaves around Yen. Some user said this in one of the previous threads and I liked it. Around Triss he acts like a lion, around Yen like a dog. No disrespect to dogs or lions, both great animals :3
I also like the ending with Triss better as it leaves more options open for Geralt, he still takes an occasional contract, they have their friends visit them, they have two houses, it's pretty much perfect ending I wanted for my Geralt.
That can be arranged, although later.
David Murphy
>do people just ignore the terrible, unsatisfying combat for the other things the game offers?
that's what I did
Joseph Long
How did we go from this
Robert Hill
to this
Josiah Bailey
Wticher games never excelled at combat, it was always mediocre. Its main strength lies in the characters, story, meaningful choices, atmosphere, soundtrack, attention to details, fun quests.
And combat in TW3 is not that bad imo, it's not the best thing ever, but it has its charm.
Elijah Edwards
>do people just ignore the terrible, unsatisfying combat for the other things the game offers? I think it's mostly kids that have never played the great crpgs who think the witcher 3 has terrible combat. The combat is fine.
Joshua Turner
>When I picked it up at release, everyone was picking at how fucking god awful the combat was The combat isn't god awful. As far as RPGs go I'd actually say it has one of the better combat systems on awful.
I'd actually argue that mechanically it's very good. You're rewarded for good timing and reflexes and it feels weighty enough. There just isn't a whole lot to do with it and it's pretty barebones. You're doing the same stuff 2 hours in that you'll be doing 20 hours and at 200 hours in.

I'm sorry user... She doesn't want you. She went back to that one world she talked about to Geralt where all the people had dark skin.
Zachary Adams
I still don't know why people say it's a bad combat.
If you want something realistic then yeah sure, but it's still great. Esp. if you're playing on Deathmarch ; you'll have to prepare and carefully move to win.
Sebastian Allen
I use grandmaster cat Steel sword with armor piercing runes, cat gloves, bots and trousers with 2x igni 2x quen, yrden and aard gliphs, manticore armor with enchantment that deflects missiles, and aerodighit wth enchantment that fuels it with signs power

Not hate.
In books it's just that Geralt loves only Yen. And she's bitchy for sure, but not as terrible as in game. Also, her relationship w Ciri was completely abandoned in game
Kayden Bell
I picked Yen because I'm a bookfag, and she gets better later in game.
But the first impressions she gives in TW3 made me believe the devs hated her
Luis Lewis
>I think it's mostly kids that have never played the great crpgs who think the witcher 3 has terrible combat.
this for hundret times.
Also, am I the only one that actually liked TW1 combat?

Wish I was young again so I can enjoy Witcher 3. it is boring
Kevin Roberts
i really doubt it's issue of age.

Blake Rodriguez
Are we fucking ded again?
Luis Thompson
I enjoyed TW1's combat more than TW2's, but TW3 fixed the combat to where I enjoy it.
I kind of wish they'd kept the three stances of sword fighting that Geralt used in TW1, it was neat having to use different ones for different situations, and it was fucking hilarious fighting like 15+ nerds with griffen stance, especially when it was pretty much fully upgraded by the endgame. Geralt became the human blender.
Ethan Rodriguez
>spelunking >suddenly see red marks [the one usually from quests] >ignore it and keep going >cut scene >wait I don't even have this quest >ice trolls >man getting cooked >suddenly have to escort this guy to where? >still no quest entry I'm guessing this isn't supposed to happen? Should I just reload and skip this area til I pick up the quest?
