Other than that, hope for a talisman from a battle trophy (I heard battle trophies are more frequent at lower tiers, not sure tho) and/or just play with a undertiered or OP plane.

As it stands Gaijin will have to either change the objective of ground forces completely or face the death of the game.
There's no balance or thought in this game, the matches are always steamrolls and there's no struggle towards chokepoints like other multiplayer games, the objective of capturing the point always gets taken by the team that has the lead in kills

Slenderplane is ok-ish, don't expect miracles to happen though. You outturn Spits at mid to high speeds and outroll them, but that's all you have. Griffons are truly the cancer of this tier. If you want to fly it, remember to take high fuel loads (45 min or 1h) so the CoG is placed better, giving you better turntime.

I recently got myself set on the goal of at least the P-80 and first Panther but I've got a long fucking way to go.

Whats worse is don't have money to spare for premium so an already mind numbingly frustrating grind becomes even more so, earning no more than 2k RP a match, mostly just 1k.
