keen edition previous ded: The thread is dedicated to all games about building machines and systems out of blocks, in space or otherwise. Also, all these games are ded. Only ded games may join, otherwise they must have their own thread. Whether or not a game belongs in /egg/ is a case by case matter, however games that would belong in /svgg/, space voxel games general, are automatically considered /egg/
WebM for retards: >gitgud.io/nixx/WebMConverter.git
List of currently known and vaguely not dead /egg/ games (this list is not fully inclusive and if you think a game might belong here, feel free to ask): >Algodoo >Avorion >Besiege >Chode - Children of a Dead Earth >Empyrion - Galactic Survival >Factorio >From the Depths >GearBlocks >Garry's mod >Homebrew - Vehicle Sandbox >Infinifactory >Intersteller Rift >KOHCTPYKTOP: Engineer of the People >Machinecraft >REM >Robocraft >Robot Arena 2 >Scrap Mechanic >SHENZEN I/O >Space Engineers >SpaceChem >StarMade >Skywanderers
Games that are definitely not /egg/: >Minecraft >The general that quite literally cannot be named. The Mexican scam artist one. With the shitposters. Fuck off. >Hearthstone, found in the hearthstone general, /hsg/, not in this general.
Information about these games, such as where to get them if they're not on steam, trailers, /egg/ conquered/hosted servers, and other shit can be found in this pad: public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/eggames
So, are you saying that the portal moves the space? There is a reason the portals don't exists in reality
Nathaniel Cook
>retard wants to argue his debunked 'B' pick.
Elijah Cox
Yes, but not in any way visible in 3-dimensional space. By connecting two points of previously separate space, portals act like wormholes bending spacetime to meet.
By moving one portal differently than the other, the two areas of spacetime on either end move relative to one another, so if an object passes from one frame of space that is moving quickly compared to the frame it moves into, the object will continue to move quickly until acted on by the new frame it's in.
That said, portals completely fuck the laws of thermodynamics. Physicians go and stay go.
Jacob Sanders
Bam
Thomas Brooks
>Update That's Dr. Physician to you.
Landon Smith
Fine. Mr. Dr. Physician pls go Unless you have a better explanation.
Parker Scott
check it
Jacob Anderson

Wyatt Peterson
The only way to test this would be to somehow do it in games, and one and only take at this ended in cube clipping with wall behind portal and getting it propelled into spess
Also original portals were unmovable. which is fucking funny given that everything moves anyway
Cameron Thompson
Design i did long ago.
Henry Rogers
>test it in a game whose engine doesn't support the concept This engine seems to have a better understanding of such things and would likely be better suited for such a test.
Jayden Ortiz
Fucking scrubs
Jaxon Rivera

OH SHIT the cocos will fall past the shock connectors??
Kevin Thomas
Score. Lost one coco.

Does it at least have a proper floorplan and conveyor pipeline unlike the old slavhulk?
Lincoln Mitchell
Buttmobile: 0:17, 11/15
If you get worse than this, you aren't trying
Logan Morales

Cameron Jackson
version 2.
Zachary Howard
>Does it at least have a proper floorplan and conveyor pipeline unlike the old slavhulk? HAHAHA, OH WOW
Well, it's mostly conveyored. As for floorplan, there's central hub module, raiding outpost underneath, lemon module on the side and minelayer + 2nd raiding outpost on the back connected in the most autistic possible manner. Carriages are just cargo + thruster pods. All of interiors are a complete mess.
Elijah Butler
Clean them and put proper gravity down, or I'll come in and just rip up structure and build a proper floorplan myself inside the hulk.
Jeremiah Hill
It's actually really tough to build something faster than this that doesn't throw coco all over. Gonna keep trying though.
Does this fucking work?????
Brayden Reyes
Once it's grown to truly ridiculous size, we'll upload the blueprint
feel free to RUIN IT then
Jackson Price
>Does this fucking work?????
Not in the slightest.
Jonathan Ortiz
>Lacking editing tools >Strange, uncontrollable frame system (e.g. no hinges) >Can't delete springs directly without deleting any on top of them >Not autonomous
Those loose pieces will not stay up in the air, user
Carter Baker
dont you mean LOSS pieces???
Camden Morales
You motherfucker
Andrew Perry
I can't design for shit and this thing only works half the time.
Andrew Ramirez
>LOSS pieces You cheeky wanker.
Dylan Moore
Big Wheels + Luck master race
Isaac Howard
I don't get it
Juan Campbell
Ok... Big Wheels and REVOLUTIONARY HOPPER TECHNOLOGY master race

DELETE THIS
Joseph Ramirez
i dont get it
Joseph Barnes
Pls explain
Jason Williams
The game suffers from 'big wheels = faster' syndrome.
Joshua Russell
Yep. There are diminishing returns vs weight at a certain point, though. I just tested a really big wheel and it went slower.
Jonathan Bennett

Luis Fisher
Coming along nicely, each cargo section is able to take almost 18m kg of cargo into orbit.
Brandon Smith
>go through these, think you have the fastest >see this shit who didn't link back to post
at least I'm still the fastest webm (so far)
Carson Gonzalez
When you don't have a deadline, and coconut safety is your key priority, go for the Coco Loco v1.
Our patented coco-cabin retention mechanism automatically engages once the hopper is at maximum capacity, and keeps your beloved cocos safe and on the way- No matter which direction is up!
Jace Reyes
It surely is the peak of coco-care
Ryan King
>Not both locking down the coconuts AND being extremely fucking rapid
Josiah Barnes
that's a nice nutlock
Nolan Perez
:13 isn't that fast, even my shitcart can do that when it doesn't flip over.
Eli Harris
Your precious armory, graciously accepted!
Logan Myers
Nobody else here even trying FantCont?
Cameron Lewis
A damn fine nutlock, indeed. But it can't operate in EVERY orientation like the CocoLocoV1.
Gabriel Taylor
>imblying we didn't all play it for hours during class in school
Alexander Rodriguez
I haven't seen that game in years
Anthony Myers
who soft wheel physics here?
also, >express post option
Parker Harris
But did you ever create... CONVEYOR BELT SYSTEMS?
Carson Brooks
Wheelthrowing cocos that manage to escape the hopper.
Pedophiles are disgusting. Hebephilia is where it's at.
Hudson Taylor
So I was the person who discovered and posted this years ago, was the greatest feeling watching it grow into some kind of supermeme, but did anything useful or interesting ever come out of it? I know that week there were turbine engines made with it, but for the most part people were just cutting the power with swivels and not using the full power since nobody could find a way to contain it.
But I quit playing shortly after, and I'm sure stuff has been added to the game since then, after finding my old videos yesterday I've been curious if or how my creation has grown since then.
Isaac Foster
Not yet. Advances have been made though, and supposedly it wouldn't be difficult to build a large, stabilized airship powered by those.
Joshua Gomez
I swear I saw a webm of a chaos engine powered driveshaft thingymaboober that was able to harness the whole thing, obviously not at full speed.
Xavier Cooper
you're kind of a legend, user
Carson Nelson
We are blessed that His prophet come down here to us lowly mortals.
Lincoln Davis
It's just superpowered autism. Was between jobs at the time, and marathoned the game on release on an adderall kick.
I was also the first to share superpositioning glitch and doublejoints, was a great time to be alive. Makes me feel pretty pathetic now, looking back at how popular it made me feel.
I would love to see it, I spent forever trying to contain it with springs, shocks and god knows what else.
Nicholas Gonzalez
someone made a chaos engine powered airship
Colton Cox
dug up this from the archive
Robert Brooks
This ain't mine but I think you'd appreciate it. Also I'd like you to realize you inadvertantly turned the general from /svgg/ to /egg/, because when besiege got popular on /v/ it eventually died out and came here, and while fitting in its setting wasn't close enough, and /egg/ was decided. It's odd how someone just randomly posting something or finding something can change entire communities. And to suck your dick (no homo tho) I view as a lesser form of The Zam, the tripfag who made the first MLP thread on /co/
