What are some great Veeky Forums films?
I loved pic related, so bonus points if the film is based off a true story.

Clever
This is the one on Prime, is it? I'll put it on my list. Thanks
Hopefully more people use this title as I'm always happy to find new auto YouTube channels etc.
FNF1 and toykoyoy drift
Rest are garbage unless you really enjoy the cast.
Little known and underrated gems. You may find some dvd's if you're lucky.
vanishing point
Christine is by far one of my favorites. The movie's become a bit of a cult classic.
>2 Fast 2 Furious is garbage
You've got objectively shit FF taste.
Anyways, here's some car kin/o/
The entire Mad Max series
D'Antoni trilogy has genesis of car chases.
>Bullitt
>The French Connection
>The Seven-ups
Bullitt was trash and you know it. Even the car chase everyone races about was BS. That chase would've ended in seconds. The Charger was so much faster and more reliable, even during filming. IIRC, they had to used 3-5 Mustangs to complete the chase scene because it kept breaking, while the Charger had no issues while shooting.
wtf does kino mean?
I agree that Bullitt is the weakest, though I don't mind if the chase was more spectacle then realism.
I barely remember anything from the movie other then the Charger-Stang duel, his gf driving him in the beetle and the last scene at the airport.
French Connection is much better and the more closer to Veeky Forums with the Caddy being a major story element.
The Seven-ups took a step back from Veeky Forums but I personally find it the over all best.
Made by autistic gearheads, for autistic gearheads.
German word for theater.
this so much.
I watched some documentary thing recently called 'The 24 hour war'
I'd recommend it, it's about ford and ferrari in the 60s (and obviously le mans)
Weekend of a Champion.
Roman Polanski follows Jackie Stewart around for the 1971 Monaco GP.
>not mentioning this and it's all star cast
I recently stumbled on this.
Thoughts?

The Transporter 1-3 and Ronin has some pretty awesome car chase scenes.
Bullshit asshole, no one likes the tuna here!
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Yeah well I do.

It's what /tv/ elitist faggots use to feel good about their bloated bodies and accompanying bedsores
anybody who actually likes any FnF after 4 is a complete faggot, so thanks for letting us know that we can ignore you
Easy Rider if you're a bikerfag
And obviously Pixar's Cars is Veeky Forums as fuck. The protag is a benchracer.
What does kino mean?
Death Proof had pretty decent car scenes
youtube.com
also these
Death Proof was awesome.
5 and 6 were actually well made action flicks, also The Rock's character was top tier
Tokyo Drift would be decent if the characters weren't so boring
2F2F is just plain rubbish
shit, I meant
Hit and Run was neat.
Hey you want a toothpick?
Convoy
Go stand in the fucking corner you redneck
Germanization of cine(ma).
wouldn't you just brake when he was beside you? Then go stand behind a big tree? Car never beats tree.
Im going to be so sad when they decide to remake this with a modern mini...
Imagine the warnings if you took the doors off...
youtube.com
It doesn't look too bad tho.
>Car never beats tree
the whole point of the film was that the Chevy Nova was super strengthened stunt car that could survive literally any crash
Oh. I haven't seen it.
But I highly doubt the engine mounts would survive a tree hit no matter how much it was reinforced.
came here to say this. also pic related
If you like bikes, this
Megalopolis Expressway Trial 1-6, it's with Keiichi Tsuchiya, just watch them on jewtube, hard to find anywere else

Riding Bean
Let's call it an Veeky Forums related stoner comedy. I think I saw it on my 14th birthday in cinema and I enjoyed it. Don't think I'd watch it again.
RIP all those 69 Chargers.

Grand Prix is not only my favourite car film, it’s pretty much my favourite film full stop.
You should watch this film just for the race scenes alone; seeing real on track footage from 1966 of Monaco, Spa, and Monza in 65mm colour is amazing.
