I met a girl through a few mutual friends on a night out, we got on really well, so I asked her on a date and got her number. Texting back and fourth for a few days, all seems well. Come the day of the date I was going to pick her up at 7pm, but when I went to my car in the afternoon it wouldn't start and I didn't have time to look at it for the rest of the day. No problem, I will just borrow my Dad's car, he was cool with it. Should mention at this point his car at the time was a brand new Audi RS6, nothing too ostentatious and fairly subtle, but a nice car none the less.
7pm comes round so I drove to her house, which was in a pretty rough neighbourhood. All is fine. Pull up outside, and go to the door. Her dad answers, and before I can even introduce myself he looks at the Audi and turns white. Girl comes downstairs, and stops when she sees her dad. He then says "who the fuck does this cunt think he is?" to which I have no idea what to say. "This fucking boy turns up in a car worth more than our house? Who the fuck do you think you are bringing here?". I tried to explain, but was getting nowhere. Said it was properly best that I left, to which her dad slammed the door in my face. Got in the car and drove off. Never heard from her again, and according to out mutual friends I really upset her family. Still don't know what to make of that one, was a very strange day
