High Mileage General

/hmg/

Who has the highest miles on Veeky Forums?

I'm sure it's not me, But I rolled 250k in my shitbox Explorer this morning

don't take pictures while driving

230k in my S10

changing the belt on it tonight 'cause AC started to squeal the other day.

If you lived where I lived you would know why I did.

There is all of 5 people on the road at any given time in this entire town.

>said shitbox

Had 230k on my Saturn before it was burning to much oil to keep. If it wasnt so ugly I would have gotten the engine rebuilt, hell of a reliable car.

I had a geo prism with 455k roll into my shop for an oil change the other week
Shit was clean, like 50,000 clean. Dude was a gulf war vet. Even under the hood, spotless

28k on my 2011 Impreza, I woulda swore it would be more because of work and school. I can't imagine how I'd even put 100k by 2030

All that wasted effort on a Meo Metro.

I had a LeSabre with 545k on the clock. I posted a get on here a while back. She died from a truck to the rear.

F

Why is Buick the white sheep of the family?

theres a truck on youtube with a million. its a work truck, and is in better shape than you'd expect. the number of oil changes is insane

How do you get the most mileage out of your car? Can you just keep driving it, then when something breaks you fix it? Why wouldn't this work?

240k on my 01 Jetta

what year?

also 130k on mazda b3000 checking in

I personally just did preventive maintenance. Never had any big issues, I think the most expensive repair was an exhaust manifold.

2000

306k on my 98 trans am.
A hard 306k.

i see you must've gone through 36 rear ends by now

256,603 on my 2011 Duramax. Have a CEL on w/ po191. All 3 fuel regulators need to be replaced. Local stealership quote me $6000 for all 3. They would give $8000 in trade for it.

leave

niggas jealous of my god-tier ride

come back in 10 years when that thing has at least been to the moon.

365k on an 05 altima (miles)

transmission is starting to go. it late shifts first gear constantly and going into second is super jerky. besides that it's pretty solid.

Preventative maintenance, a uniform driving style, and proper care.

Mostly freeway driving helps.

Getting close to 250k miles.
Needs:
>Timing chains
>pass head resurfaced
>valve stem seals
>maybe rings
>driver side cat
>thermostat
>probably water pump

I've ignored it all for 20k miles so far, I'll get to it eventually

You can just keep replacing shit, but once you need to replace half the shit on the car and it cost 10k to repair people usually buy a new car. Although eventually the unibody might wear out where stuff screws into it.

Not far from the truth, im on number 5 and its had the guts replaced once

fuck off I love those things.

In about 8k more miles, my car will be brand new again.

Its a mystery how many miles are actually on it.

My personal highest was 195k on my Dakota RT but my mother has a Stratus with 515k on the original engine and transmission.

Still baffles me.

I have 42k miles in my '13 Focus, bought it with 29k last year, I've beed driving a lot delivering packages for my dads company, travelling, driving uber for extra cash, etc.

How? Mine hit 120k and I'm already rebuilding the transmission.

BMW 330d. Sold it at 380k.Replaced the turbo, one injector and suspension bits.

btw. the automatic gearbox lasted all the way without any repairs.

I'm over 314k on the original engine and transmission in my Integra RS

310k on my tacombra 01' SR5 5 speed...

you goofed
350k miles

Ay fellow Integra negro

158k on my LS, shit's cash yo

That autotragic though dude why??

I have 106k on my rx8, that's like 300k piston engine miles.

493976 on my 92' Ford Ranger.
Its dying though.

>tfw bmw refuses to sell diesels here

REBUILD IT

I dunno man its worth like $400. Nothing is new on it but the serpentine belt and battery and the oil. I wish it would just not start one day like it died in its sleep. It refuses to die even though its like 124 years old in truck years.
