The battles went really well, everyone was pretty great. The "NO EFFECT" that came up when turning on Hope's BSB2 was weird, but I didn't get to read up on what it did before then.

I did the heal on entry because I figured it'd be better to have a constant medica and she so often has her soul break... eh. The two times I wasn't using her commands was when I was trying to hit Tyro to wake him up

Lifesiphon, I figured it'd be more useful to try to get the OSB out more often than to dispel him, especially since we had a banishing strike

Our group had two sources of magic blink, Faris BSB, and Snow used Gaia's Gross to draw most attacks to him, among other things. His sleep attacks weren't too troubling, and Firion's instant magic blink was able to block his dispel bullshit. Our group just made it feel really easy to bap Raines in both difficulties.

I think of it as a lost art style. It suffered in the same sense that modern pixel games are suffering from low resolution sprites. FF7 is a masterpiece of low poly, minimal texture art. I don't think anyone could or will ever make a better looking game in the same style.

The textures of FF8 and 9 can be an eyesore on low resolution unlike 7's simple colors and lack of textures. On higher resolutions tho, FF8 and 9 do look better 7

Need some help from fellow PCSX2 users. I'm emulating International Zodiac Job System. The settings I'm currently using:

- D3D11 Hardware Renderer.
- Twice native resolution (1024x896).
- Twice window size (1024x896).
- Texture filtering: Bilinear Forced.

Anything bigger makes the fonts look considerably like shit. Is this pretty much the best setup I can play with that doesn't look like something made for ants?
