So I just noticed that Owl Cat's clash means you cannot trade Fairies or Goblins into it. It will need a 2/x to trade into it and it will also hose some early wards like snake priestess and spartoi soldier.

Roach is dead. CForest can play Control tools and other high cost Foresr cards. They are not the same deck at all.

It's not really that scary. It has a pretty big restriction and it costs 4 shadows.
It's definitely a good card but it's also pretty easy to play around. The only real big target I can see is that shithead Albert, and he deserves to get fucked

Don't get me wrong, Thane is a good card and will see play, but I don't see him shifting the shadow paradigm. He's just a nice followup to play if your Morde gets banished.

Whereas Soulsquasher is insane enough to literally create new archetypes.

That's impossible to play around. Forte, Genesis Dragon, anything you evolve to do face damage or re-establish control will get fucked. The only way to "play around" that is just to never use evolve points if they have 4 shadows (i.e, ever).

First off, most of the things you evolve for board control will be weakened already. As in, they were probably gonna die already
Second, blowing up huge storm minions is nice but they already hit you in the face. Their job is done.
She seems best against decks that evolve their minions for damage, not board control, as those minions are generally healthy and can be a pain to remove due to the inflated stats. I suppose you could also put her in aggro to blow up a big evolved ward too, but then you're spending a lot of phantom howl burst.
Once again, a good card for sure, but I wouldn't call her scary.
