I've seen a few MPG related threads but I want to know about your redline. Where is your limit, Veeky Forums?

2001 V40
>having a redline
I think it's 7600.
Used to be when the engine ran out of steam, but that was back before fuel cutoff.
8600 rpm where da real kseries play
7000 vee-ate LS
what car
Pretty much same as mine, redline's just under 7k
Don't laugh at my 180kmh speedo tho
That's a clean looking cluster, what car is it?
Two vehicles.
One doesn't have a redline, just a mark showing where the rev limiter cuts in.
The other redlines at about 9k.
5500 on an L59 Vortec
My bike revs to 12.5k, neat for a 2 cilinder. Now that I think about it, my mom's 99 punto didn't even have a rev counter, how about that? It had 2 dials, one speedo and one as a clock. And 2 smaller dials for temps and gas levels.
The mom of my gf has a toyta aygo, the rev counter was an OPTION. Standard was a manual without rev counter.
>didn't even have a rev counter
Same as my first car. It didn't really need one. The engine told you when it was time to shift.
1st gen Focus.
Tuned to 7.2k redline
Your gauges look super comfy. I'd prefer a speedo with a smaller range. I have no idea why manufacturers are fitting their econoboxes with 120+ mph speedometers. My base model 2014 Focus has a 150mph speedo when the thing is governed to 119.
6.5 cause race car
Took this pic for muh quads odometer, but you can see my redline in the corner.
>t. Integra LS
>tfw have the same shitbox
It's a good feel though, comfy car.
8000rpm
>tfw no power until 6000rpm
mine's tuned to max power at 7200 too. but on the gauge the redline is shown at 6700.
highest redline i've driven is 10500
I don't know my limit! It's all red!
wtf
get and redline
Nice Honda bruh
thanks bruh, shame yours is auto
>implying I have a redline
eh it werks, and if i want to drive stick i can just drive my other car
...
I recognize that chevy steering wheel and climate control.
I'm going to guess camaro v8 with that 6.5 redline
WOT
>start car
>hit redline
>turn car off
>hit redline
12500 and it's pistons
How off was I
7.8k
not bad for a $200 shitbox
>implying I even have atachometer
I have a built vq37, stock redline is 7500 but Ive upgraded oil pump and tuned redline up to 8200 now.
same brand, but way the fuk off
Just short of 8k on the dash, but in reality it can go to about 8.3k.
VVTL-i is just as good as vtec.
>not being able to recognize vtaks shitty chevy

ill have you know with just a few mawds it will smoke your car
You said race car so I got excited
Sue me
>camaro
>race car
come on now
I'm sure it will smoke my car as hard as you smoke your gay lovers poles, lmao.
pretty much m8.
I've got a 1935 Chevy with the stock 207 l6
With only 3 main bearings and cast iron Pistons I'm not sure it will hold up much past 3k
guess my car
rev counter goes up to 70 btw if your dumb ass can't tell
Tuned to 8k from 7500
well technically 80 but it isn't numbered
Also 5 get
7400 for the meme car
Early 90s volkswagen
close
Cuts fuel at 6800.
No real point to shift up beyond 6200.
Thanks for the tiny turbo Ford. :/
4500 on my intech
Guess my car
Early 2000s GM?
16,500
12,000
7,200
(Don't know it only has a speedo)
1978 Nova ~6500 ripems
2000 GMC Sierra ~5500 ripems
1980 Suzuki GS550L - 9500

...
Yes, 1st gen Focus as the other user said
The rev limiter is just a bit above the 6750rpm mark
nissan something?
I wouldn't take mine past about 3500.
Old truck engine.
Weird cam.
Crazy transmission ratios make it driveable and worth it.
>his redline doesn't adjust as the car warms
pathetic.
>having a tach
Fucking plebs

5500, ohc 4cyl.
tuned to 6500 rpm
fuck
>tfw only 13k
>having a tach
So many ugly gauges and car interiors..
7500 RPM, they are all Italian baby.
8250
It's a V10, tho.
Generic as fuck.
Nobody knows... it's an old 94' Fiesta without a RPM Gauge and no limiter... maybe around 20.000?
depends where...
20,000 baby. Shame it's a 250cc so it's not like it makes any power anyway
7400 is where redline begins, but it will rev happily and reliably out to the 8000 rpm fuel cutoff all day long stock. I got mine tuned to 8750 rpm with head bolts and a gasket, valve springs, cams, and boltons. Made 220whp and 154wt on a dyno last summer when I got it all finished.
5th gen Honda Prelude.
???
...
Bit tired, just realized that I had repeated myself and added an unnecessary line and fixed it.
Dont need a tach when the car shifts for you
What configuration or dortios? Mine redline at 7K.
z32
7200 in a K24Z3
Thinking of getting ktuner for premium tune and 7600 redline after I/H/E
Soooooo you upgraded the oil pump so magically your valve springs can handle 8200.
