>How does the collage work?
See pic related.

K24 is life.

Buddy's coupe just got some EK side skirts today. Ready to see this thing fly across the Twinspan.

>tfw no k swap in my eg

What did he do to make it fit?

Not sure. I'll ask him next time I see him. Though EGs and EKs are fairly similar so I bet he didn't have to do much.

...

>live in the frozen north
>Accord no longer being sold
>population cucked into 2.2 diesels or R20 gasoline engines for recent generations
>almost all gasoline Accords are executive tourer models with the automatic gearbox
>K24 only available in the anemic Honda Element variety or the S2000 for the thoroughbred

Fuck. Guess I'm settling for a 7th gen with the 155hp K20A6

Tell me about these K24s
power?
torque?
price? worth doing?

All i know is contrary to the belief of people on honda forums, no k swapping an old 6/7thgen civic isn't cheaper than modifications. Fully built k engines with transmission i've only seen go from 800$ to 1600$. While there are custom parts the original owner put in the engine and tranny in my d17a2 the parts i know are well below 1k. What you need to consider with k engines are torque spec, weight, mounts, and aftermarket. Only time its worth it, with hype prices most of them have, is if your engine is shit or ded then pull from a ded car with a k engine or get lucky on eBay and Craigslist. Thats just my experience knowing a lot of people that engine swap.

No didn't think so.
Saying that I have spend £800 on the engine and ECU of a b16a and should hope to get 180hp
Stick another £250 in cams in, you get to over 200hp.
Well shall see tomorrow, my brum brums in then and I should have it back by midday.

K's are disappointing to look at on ebay cause they are way over priced for even bad condition full builds.
My d17a2 only makes in the 130 hp range though thing seems to have stock setup for how lean it burns which it might not need. The stage one cam gives most the power in my car i think.
Wish it had more low end torque.

It's ready for work. I'll lift the rear later.

>That lean

youtube.com/watch?v=T20aIntlGVo

Kek

I shouldn't scrape on anything now. The rear exhaust might if i reverse too far doing U turns but that's no big deal.

Did my trans fluid change too.

stop me /hg/ I can't resist

That looks nice as hell.

108 000 km and 1500$ canadian I don't get it how is it so cheap

>108 000km on an EK
Wew it's a little baby.

I'd give it a closer look. Might be a great deal.

already texted the guy lol

Who gave you the ride lol

Looks OK

I had the Corolla back this afternoon so I was able to go get what I needed.

It rides amazing now. Only noise is engine and exhaust. Oh and my squeaky clutch pedal.

>dashcam doesnt automatically override old footage
reeeee

Seems like your old one was better

but osund and picture is much better
oh well

Make it end

Probably auto

Bought this steering wheel today for 100 buckaroos (not my car btw)

Also decided to convert the white CRX to OBD1 and now it runs. Don't have the o2 hooked up and it runs so rich that it sounds cammed

woops

What needs to end?

This snow, probably another month before it finally starts melting

>New exhaust and fixed rust for GSR
>First day of actually driving it after winter
>Check engine light is on while on highway

JUST

I think I like the factory one more. What wheel was on there?

What's the code?

Oh fuck

I'm in VT if you don't get that, I will.

guy hasn't answered my text :(((( I'll str8 up walk over to him and give him the cash after my last exam friday if it's any good

Hopefully it doesn't have rust, the corrosion in this area is fucking heinous.

lol egr?

Ya I'll check under and the engine but the pics and description seem pretty legit. 1.5k cad is like 20$ us I'll transcend the 3k civic meme

I don't think the car has ever run this nice before. It feels sooooo good.

That is a factory wheel. The picture is from inside a 2nd gen though.

Here's what a USDM 1g wheel looks like

did you wire up vtak yet?

>It feels sooooo good.
no homo

Unfortunately I don't have a reader so I have to take it to my mechanic's shop.

what year is it

Not yet. That'll be coming next soon. It just glides on the road so smoothly and quietly. All I hear is the deep hum of my exhaust.

come on down to Arizona, its already consistently in the 90s now

>forever running in the 90s

People still drive Hondas? Why?

Good on gas, cheap, easy to work on.

what did you change?

Good shit

I like that wheel better

>not driving a Honda
Git gud

need more skelefriends

2001

New wheel bearing, lifted the front end a bunch, and my first MTF change.

fortmyers.craigslist.org/col/cto/6104536803.html
yes no maybe so?

...

nice! been thinking i need to change mine as well, where did you get the juice?

I had an extra bottle from last year and my buddy had two. If he didn't have any I'd have gotten them from the dealer. It smoothed things up a bit though it was still smooth before the change.

i want to fug her

I like it better too. But buying a 300 dollar wheel for 100 shipped was a good deal. also its

R A R E

because JDM

How do I fix this scuff and scratch on my Honda accord?

is the civic type r going to be in high demand?

will it push up the price? how many are they going to make?

Looks too deep to buff. That'll need some respray

Yes, yes
Idk no more than 10k

Who the fuck wants it to be 90 all the time? Are you a lizard?

I couldn't handle it being in the 90's all the time. 80's is bad enough. Though it was humid as fuck today. like 90%.

yeah and
>when you feel your cold engine struggle as it breathes in hot air while the ac is blasting
no thanks.

>tfw can feel the power loss every time the compressor kicks in
>gotta keep it on or else I'll drown in my own sweat

This summer is gonna be brutal. Hope my AC stays working.

>2017
>not a lizard person

Its like you dont even want to be part of the ruling class.

Random youtube video of progress:

>tfw got the first view

What odd timing.

you're my #1 fan

Kek.

youtube.com/watch?v=lIfcvC3e3KY

I bet that would be me if I got a bike.

I'd be the opposite where I rev and dump the clutch so slowly it burns up.

Couldn't trust myself with a bike. Maybe a Motocompo or a Ruckus.

I want a bike but nothing more than a simple off road or dual sport. I really like the xr series.

>Scooter is way cheaper than a bike so you can do crazy shit

youtube.com/watch?v=1IhZthFLYKo

>it's fucking snowing outside
>weather app says nothing about snow or rain
wat

Man winter never wants to leave huh?

Revved up to 7.5k on my way back from dropping sister off at school. Wonder what the P28 will stop me at....

Also I'm not gonna push it to find out. 8k is way too high for a stock D. Kek

Unless it's built and I don't know it...

An off road would be cool where I live with all these fields.

Hektik as fuck. I want a Ruckus but the Honda tax is strong and they cost more that entire cars.

That's an angry little FD.

liveleak.com/view?i=295_1493254203

Still hanging on tight.

Oh well, I'm finally ordering parts tomorrow.

HOLY SHIT YES
COP THAT SHIT

TOP JEJ
RIP

Shit nigga that's a good deal.

Got an answer for that 1.5k civic, sounds pretty interesting what do

If the body isnt all rusty, go get it, it runs.

Im buying a 90 civic hatch in the next week. Any problems i should look out for?

I'm really liking this S2000 now. Still has that Transformers badge though.

Rust, bad synchros, and burning oil.

Bad synchros are the bane of my life on my Accord.

Getting a new clutch and flywheel soon, though doubt it will help gear crunches.

Yeah that stuff wont help if its the synchros. You arent the money accord are u?

Nah, I very rarely post here.

2007 Accord Type S, K24A3.

sold the reflective panel for 250 buckaroos + shipping. Didnt even last a week lol

If you have bad synchros all you have to do is gently hold the shifter into the gear you want and youll feel it slip in when its the right RPM

It's a bit more complicated, pretty much just 1st -> 2nd. I cannot shift into 2nd gear from 1st above around 5500RPM at all unless I double de-clutch.

Sometimes it will also refuse to go into gear at low RPMs with a lovely grind sound before I quickly double de-clutch to get it into gear.

It's probably created from the large gap between the 1st gear and 2nd gear ratio. 1st gear tops out around 40kmph, 2nd gear around 110kmph. And it's been like this since I bought the car from a shite dealership.

>says it's raining
>Not raining
Feels good

I hate protesters who block traffic so much

It's really as simple as what I'm saying.
You aren't wrong though, the gear ratio is making it difficult if you shift @5500.

If you shift at a lower rpm and do what I was describing, itll slip into gear 95% of the time without grinding.

Blog update:

White CRX runs great now

I don't doubt it, but because of the gearing gap and with my current 23lb flywheel - revs drop so slow that going from 7600rpm in 1st to below 5k in 2nd takes ages.

If I get more money, I might try find a scrapped FN2 TypeR and do a gearbox swap.
