just make her zone not completely unpunishable/unreactable on top of having insane range and being cancelable in revenge

some people say that PK's shouldn't be able to cancel the second swing, but i think that's a bad idea, it would make it completely useless

giving zone attack an internal cooldown of 1-2 seconds would be better, can't be spammed during revenge mode

they could also make her zone attack 12 frames like Warden and Orochi instead of 9 frames, but i think 99% of people will still eat it and people will still complain that it's too fast

i don't think Ubi will touch her light attack speed though, a more likely balance change is that Ubisoft makes guard stance switch speed the same on all characters, as it should be

What needs to be done to bring her in line is most of the damage from the zone needs to be moved to the second attack. Initial damage halved. It's versatility would make a LB proud, but it's too good. Can't nerf the speed for the same reason you can't do it to Orochi and Warden, without those existing it just reinforces the turtle meta. It's one of few tools that can pierce them.

The second attack on the light chain needs to have about 200ms added to the recovery to slow the spam down, which can be circumvented IF you continue the chain into the heavy at the end. However, this extra recovery time can not lead to being caught in an untechable guard break.

Do these things and PK will be in line. It will make the class harder for scrubs to abuse, but the actual experienced players won't be affected much. Also take off the extra range on the attacks. That was a retarded change.

PK doesn't need a zone like that when she has lights that fast. The orochi and warden zones are as fast as their tops (Warden's zone is also incredibly punishable).

Honestly, any class which already has 2-3 attacks for initiating doesn't need a powerful zone since it's redundant with a side light. "just block right" is also not a good way to go about defending against a character that causes you to guess that much.

Am I the only one who leaves queue when the skill rating goes from "extended" to "all"? Mostly because my highest gear score is 35.

After 5 or so tries I just give up and join a match where everyone is everything between 0-108. Which is most of my 4v4 experience anyway.

The 1v1 modes are for 1v1, what part of this is remotely difficult to understand? Killing people quick enough to help teammates and avoid being ganked yourself is part of this gamemode, that is what the devs intended.

Trying to find a main knight, any advice ? I started with the Warden, long swords being cool and all and making me feel like a hero. But after some time it feels just too basic, a bit bland, should charge to zone and so on.

Then I went to the Lawbringer, but it feels a bit too passive for me. I quickly run out of stamina when I go on the offensive to deal only like half of the Warden damage but I liked that he required some technique and thinking. I guess it's a more advanced class and I'm just a casual player playing from time to time.

So I went to the Peacekeeper. The opposite of the Lawbringer, I could be aggressive and deal plenty of damage. I'm even getting good at the dodge into attacks and stab move. Kinda not my style to play as some small waif character and I kinda miss the technicality of the Lawbringer but don't want to go back to his crap stamina and damage.

So now I'm at the Conqueror and I'm not sure about him. I like that he has a faster block than the supposedly defensive Lawbringer while having some ok damage, but what is there to him ? The charged attack is very predicable and the only way to cancel it to dodge of full guard meaning no feinting into a quick attack. What's his thing ? How technical is he ?

Warden is good. Learn how to effectively use your tools and that feeling of simplicity passes. Warden has mix ups for days.

Lawbringer is passive, yeah. All he has going for him is parrying and environmental kills. He's also a toptier bully in teamfights, though, so if you play mainly 4v4 maybe try sticking near a teammate and being the supporting ganker.

PK is super good but also braindead easy. Light spam mixed in with some zones and a GB now and again will eat most people alive. Doing anything even remotely advanced with her is leagues less effective than chipping away with lights.

Conq is also very strong, but he's a little less braindead than PK. Only a little, though. Most of what he does is shoulder spam and turtle. Shoulder bash is a strong offense, and you naturally have a strong defense with full stance and a shield. Really all you do is punish people for attacking, or bash spam if they're not.

Choice is yours, really.

Remove all area buffs from Skirmish
Remove all resurrecting from Elimination

They need FFA deathmatch, they need a bull in the ring mode where you go up against individuals until you're dead only to be replaced by the victor, also a wave survival mode would be cool too.

Ubi just needs to punish quitters. It might be their servers fucking up but more often then not it's one asshole that can't stand a single fucking loss.

Problem is, they can't take away things like the in game currency from those shits because you can buy it and taking something away that someone may have spent actually money on previously is egregious.

The only recourse is to exile quitters to their own hosting service for a bit but that shit doesn't really work either since the servers are peer to peer.

Quitters should be getting temp bans, increasing in time depending how often you're quitting.
The problem is they can't even implement punishment for quitting because people get dropped from games all the fucking time, and the game won't be able to tell if you quit on your own, or are just dropped thanks to the connection

There are characters whose entire kit are just unfun to be be on the receiving hand of. I'm not talking about powerlevels at all here. Taking control away from someone (CC) as well as downtimes aren't fun. I can say for sure that i'd rather play against a warlord and feel in control of my character than fighting a valk and none of my inputs matter for 50% of the fight because my ass is on the ground. It's also not fun to fight a nobushi that plays keep away because you're not actually fighting most of the time.
Too many times I feel like devs only consider one side when designing characters : Will the player enjoy using X?
It's possible to design moves that are cool for both players or at least don't annoy the shit out of the receiving hand. I think crushing counters are great, so are parriable unblockables like the raider's zone or even his heavy soft feints since they demand a good measure of interaction between both players.
