>Pic related. Does anyone ever think of removing every last sticker and starting over? I want to. But atleast a good $150+ in stickers... and the goo gone. And the stickers no longer made..
Anyone ever start completely over? I bet its a bitch to remove and clean.
Samuel Reed
Long time no see. Plastic razor, if you want to keep them intact and keep them in a scrapbook for memories. Heat gun is the sticker killer
Thomas Lee
Nice to see you aswell.
I was dabbling in the idea of removing most if not all carefully, and then using a spray paint adhesive on the back of said used stickers, and then plastering them on something else.
Thoughts?
Lincoln Butler
>spray adhesive
Would probably work but they would never come off that something else ever again.
Henry Kelly
You should just remove every sticker and then not have any stickers
having your car plastered in stickers makes you look like a 16 year old faggot
Jonathan Morris
I'd probably just plaster them on the Fridge in our garage. It already has like 100+ stickers from parts and etc.
(You)
Christopher Russell
Very beautiful 86, guy. Burnt tips are an awesome match to the silver. Looks stunning.
Evan Watson
Can I daily one of these? Like, could I carry more than 2 grocery bags at a time?
Kayden Cook
Yes.
Ryan Gomez
whatever man, just know that having those stickers all over your car just shouts "i have the mental maturity of a high schooler"
James Powell
>burned tip muffler >cheap wheels >stickers everywhere >shit hanging from a tow hook Typical toyobaru faggot
Blake Anderson
I daily an MR-S
You've got a decent amount of space in the cabinets behind the seats, and frunk compartment is pretty big too of you ditch the spare tire and replace it with a can of fix-a-flat.
For work I always carry a medium size tool box and a power drill. Those fit just fine behind the seats. You just have to be clever with space.
I've carried a full shopping cart full of groceries without putting anything on the floor or the passenger seat.
Only time you're really screwed is if you want to buy something from Ikea, or pick up somebody from the airport with a bunch of suitcases. Good luck with that.
Robert White
you can also remove rear cubby lids for more space and hektik weight savings. Or get a luggage rack for ye olde monte carlo feel
Elijah Sullivan
>ditch the spare tire and replace it with a can of fix-a-flat.
Don't do this, not only will most tire shops not want to touch your shit, but it's a dick move as that shit gets all over the equipment when dismounting the tire.
James White
fuck off hoon.
Levi Rivera
*suddenly wants mr2*
Ayden Myers
I dailed an X1/9 for five years but it had miles of boot space between the front and rear compartments. Mostly just asking because I've been looking at pictures of these and that front compartment looks kinda tiny.
Justin Lee
Get it. mid engined and cheap as fuck while being insanely reliable. Gets me looks on the street from girls
Isaac Powell
pros >more storage space >lose the heaviest thing you can remove from the car to lighten it
cons >makes it more understeery unless you have matching wheels, countered with left foot braking >on the very very very rare occurrance that you get a flat, it'll annoy mechanics.
Jordan Butler
I was thinking about getting a rack now before I got the car. After I bought it, and used it a couple weeks, found a tool box that fit perfectly, but one of those big Ikea bags in the frunk, etc. I found that little car to be way more practical than I expected. Don't think I'll ever need one.
I live in Greece. There's a tire shop on every corner. They hire slavs and pakistanis and pay them dirt. Those guys could give 2 shits about their boss's equipment, and they're glad to deal with any customer who's friendly and drops them a tip.
Jackson Nelson
oh so you're the greek mrs I keep seeing in toyota threads. I'm balt mrs
Brayden Perez
Do it!
Agreed. My GF got rolled her eyes when I told her I was looking for a sports car, and not something practical like a hatch-back. Got in a little fight over it.. Figured out the real reason she was against it was because she thought car guys were jerks, etc. Total 180 when I bought it. She thinks it's cute, she likes riding with the top down, she was with me when I replaced exhaust header and thought it was cool that I work on my own car. Now some times she points at cars on the street and asks about them. She's never owned a car in her life and up to this point has had zero interest in anything mechanical
RCR said pretty much the same thing about the Miata when he reviewed it. He nailed it.
Anthony Cox
Nice to meet you! What's the MR-S community like where you live?
Here in Athens, everybody with an MR-S waves when they see you driving one. It's like a little club. When I bought some used parts, the guy who sold them to me introduced me to a bunch of other MR-S drivers. They're like motorcycle people in the States.
Nathaniel King
MR-s's are non existant here. But the whole MR2 community is really tight and friendly with eachother. Went to hang with my friend in his sw20 on an ice track, in some time a guy in sw20 pulled up and they got talking and started discussing wether they have any parts other could use.
For MRS, they're rare as fuck. I might even have only post facelift in country. Did test drive a track build one and the older gentleman selling it was super friendly and nice even though I wasted hour and half of his time and didn't buy it. Invited me to a track day and gave me advice on what to do when I get my car.
As far as I can tell, MR2 community is always tight af.
Cameron Lewis
I think rarity is a huge part of it. For example the motorcycle crowd isn't very tight here.
Reason; the weather's nice, traffic/parking is terrible and everybody's poor, so bikes are practical and everybody's got one.
On the other hand, if you see somebody with an RWD car that isn't a Mercedes or BMW, chances are, they're an auto-enthusiast and you've got a lot in common. Show up at the gas station or car wash at the same time, you'll probably have yourselves a little chat.
Ice track? MR2? Tell me about that!
Blake Jackson
During winter we get ice tracks behind the biggest malls in capital and street racers gather to chill and pull doriftus. Met up with a sw20 owner, now a pal, to pull some skidz and learn about the car.
MR2's of all gens see a lot of ice track use here, aparrently they're real good. Will try out this winter in official races.
You ever see the black time attack greek MRS that shows up when you google "jr12"
Luke Moore
That sounds like a lot of fun. Greek dorifuto is taking your Citroen Saxo on the shittiest road possible (usually in the city center) and grabbin that e-brake.
Actually, I take that back. Some of the local MR2 and Miata guys are pretty good at it. They were going HAM at our last meetup. I'm going to try and learn after I do some work on my suspension.
And yes! that spoiler / rear difuser combo - gnar AF
Luis Jenkins
He is an inspiration to me seeing as I am getting into time attack myself.
Elijah Walker
Awesome. That would make for one hell of a hobby.
He's an inspiration to me too because I want JR12s now. Next project is suspension, but the wheels are next in the queue
Adam Howard
I'd say do wheels before suspension. JR12's are really lite and with tyres will improve grip just as much if not more than suspension. I thikn the greek guy ran 15" diameter and 8.5" wide wheels front and back. No idea about offset or other bits.
I thankfully have suspension and control arms from TTE so I'll be fine for a while.
Ian Miller
I saw you posted that yesterday. Looks mint. those wheels are pretty sick too. What sizes are you running if you don't mind my asking?
I think I have a blown strut, that's why I'm handling suspension first. HOPEFULLY I just need new bushings, etc. In that case, I'll just throw some lower/stiffer springs on and be done with it.
After that, I'll move right on to the wheels. I'm tempted to go wide as I can, but I'm not really sure how that affects handling, etc. 8.5s would look awesome, might go a little skinnier up front though.
Michael Wright
These wheels came with the car, I seem to be the only one who dislikes them and only one who likes jr12's. I just got the car like a week ago, haven't had a chance to drive much.
Wheels are 17", don't know tyre sizes and such exactly. I want to get 15" since these roads are shit and I'd rather have a bit softer ride and worry less about pot holes.
Yeah seems wiser to run suspension. The suspension was said to give up at around 120-150k
For wheels I'd reccomend equal sizes since thinner fronts tend to cause understeer. But if you don't track it that much who cares.
Matthew Watson
I think they look pretty cool, but low profile tires don't bode well for potholes and shitty eastern europe roads. Learned that lesson when I had my e39.
I'm thinking about KYB struts and lowering springs. Not as good as coil-overs, but I think they'll do the trick for half the price.
James Cooper
Sigh. Not Hoon.
Matthew Edwards
>He actually types "sigh" >Thinks he can comment on slaps >That makes you and the autist busrider I'm trying to shape into a real human bean kindred spirits

Looks ok to me, but personally I would have put it on the apex of that curve.

I really want to sell my rx8 for an MR2 GT-S or an MR-S.
Sadly the market for rx8's is shit.

JUsT FUcK MY ShIT UP
Oliver Campbell
kinda agree with that, it is what it is though. Why not find a decent FB or FC chassis to swap the renesis in. I don't want to see more guys getting wrapped around a tree.
Lincoln Mitchell
Like I said it looks fine, just fucks with my ocd a little cause it's not even. Also I would have not put the .com down, I don't like the way it looks. But coming from someone who drives a meme machine, you do you. We're all friends here.
Aaron Peterson
>price in USD I'm sorry
Asher Wood
Love you to friendo me too
Zachary Baker
I prefer the rx8 chassis over the fb and fc.
The renesis is pure garbage, I would never swap that trash engine into another car. Especially not when I could just build a 13b-t for either of them.
I want to swap a 13b-rew into the rx8, but considering the cost it would be cheaper to buy a better car.
Kevin Moore
Any tips for making my toegay team sticker better?
Sebastian Roberts
I think there's a kindred spirit between stickerfags. We're stuck in the days of nostalgia and showing off our cringe with pride. I'd have a beer with each and everyone of you. Well, maybe not Hoon.
Nathan Roberts
Diecut or slap?
Tyler Myers
Should change those lines into small letters like an eye chart, but then you would have to have it printed on clear vinyl
Jackson Gonzalez
Diecut What letters/words should I compose them of then? The team name is Supervision-san (three in moonspeak)
Benjamin Adams
スーパービジョン三 スーパービジョン三(less wide text) スーパービジョン三

Bought from JDF decals on the 6th of this month, still haven't had an update on my purchase.
Should I just assume I've been burned and buy from yummy before he dies from exhaustion from his back catalog of orders he failed to complete before his trip to Japan.

Been seeing alot of ZZW30 bros on here lately, that phantom grey you have is a brilliant color, just got my hardtop in the other week

Didn't a couple of the stickerfags obtain MR2's recently?

Stop posting these They're too cute I need a wagon, I can't buy a 2 seater oversteer machine

Welp I tried, but I have a suspicion the die wont be able to manage that kind of precision.

Wyatt Morgan
I'm really sorry about all of the hold up that I've been causing. After the accident I've been getting really fucked. One health problem after the next. I rarely have an internet connection, and when I do my time is usually spend the time dealing with other work. You guys aren't the only ones who I've let down.
Not to be a dick or anything, you guys all need to stop jumping to all kinds of conclusions about me. I'm not trying to steal your money, and honestly, there isn't very much money to be made from selling stickers on a fucking korean toy doll carving forum.
Really, I'm trying to get everything back up to speed and that's why I changed the website again. Like I said, I haven't had very much time to work on it. I know that I've pretty much skipped on 2 updates that I had planned, but I have a lot of shit planned for the future.
Bomb Squad on envelopes will also be stopping, because I have a feeling that it's caused a lot of the problems at customs. I may also add an option for tracked shipping from now on, so anons can be sure that they know where their packages are.
Sorry for all the problems I've caused. I just hope that everything can get back on track after I get my life back on track.

who was selling that blackpink slap? I remember going through all the vendors in the list and finding it but forgot
Christopher Thomas
that's tripfast.jp
Jeremiah Gonzalez
nah it was another, had two versions, black on pink and pink on black.
So I decided to try a little experiment. I wanted to see how well a two layered inverted sticker would work. Here's how it looks from the inside of the car. (This is where it is stuck onto)
Daniel Myers
And here's how it looks from outside. As you can see there is some bubbling on the smaller Ws. I'm going to go through with a needle and fix some of those bubbles. Overall I think it worked out pretty good.

Ayden Sullivan
I just got mine today, I think he was working on orders up until last night.
Ayden Wilson
Is that printed on sticky side, or like put on tape then put on window
Jeremiah Bennett
Honestly stickers from guys who use thicker vinyl leave almost no residue even after 5 or 6 months. I took a bunch off and rearranged shit on my car a month or two ago and had no trouble. You can also use spray adhesive to reuse your superrare stickers
Kayden Fisher
Its layered vinyl not printed. He just layered it backwards and cut the design horizontally flipped.
Elijah Brown
My brain hurts too much for that to make sense. I think I caught the gist though.
Jaxon Cruz
It's not printed, it's just cut vinyl. What you see here is the sticky side. And this is what you would normally see (non sticky side) is correct
