What's the comfiest town and why is it Armoroad?

...

Yes. Definitely.
In EO3 and EO4 armor is hard coded to only be a third effective against STR-based damage while is is fully effective against TEC-based damage. (In the Untolds it's even worse since it keeps it shitty STR-based ratio and does nothing against TEC-based anymore).
So in EO4 the armor stat is pretty damn weak. VIT and TEC are important to survive and even those don't do that much unless stacked really, really high.
We are talking about low single digit percent damage reduction for an entire armor slot.

So every class except maybe Fortress is better off using two weapons, their body armor (since that has the biggest armor stat) and an accessoire. Helmets, gloves and shoes can be ignored starting the mid game (unless they offer nice stat boosts like STR or resistances).
And unless you need your second weapon for certain damage skills you go for Daggers or Staffs and use them for their forge slots as some sort of secondary accessoire slot.

A Linker-Landknecht for example can go for some AGI forges and then ignore Vanguard. While Vanguard does offer a 40% physical damage buff having to re-buff yourself with Vanguard and Improved Link constantly sucks and usually tanks your DPS way more than foregoing Vanguard and some STR forges for AGI.

Oh and Weapon Parry will increase the survivability of your Landknecht way more than any armor piece - even a shield - would ever be able to.

>lmao4kat
>no parry skills at all
Why

It's located on the sea so it's perfectly normal for you cute girls to take out ther swim suits and go to the beach.

Also it's brighter than other cities and the way you look down on it in the town menu makes it look more open and less rigid than the other places.

And you have Missy and Edie who are a top-tier barmaiden and shopkeeper respectively.

>Having the sense to parry when you wield 4 fucking swords to battle

Because their whole stick is to die to a stiff breeze.

I wish I could visit it again. On 3DS. In a remake.

Yes
4 fucking swords
People can parry with one and you have fucking 4 and still cannot parry something this is ridiculous

Parrying with your weapon doesn't mean you just hold it there and have attacks get reflected.
You need a great amount of grip, balance, weight and care for the angle your weapon is realtive to the incoming attack to deflect anything.
Carrying a bunch of weapons makes all of this way more complicated.

And mechanically four sword Masarou is an all-out glass cannon so defensive skills would be a bad fit.

...

>can't decide if i want a male of female green-haired masurao in my party
>doesn't even matter because EOV in the west never ever

braud fencer is best fencer

Why is this allowed

They figured: If they make all races look good only the most hardcore weebs would buy the cosmetic DLC.

Since potatoes are best at healing you are agressively inclined to buy Medico portraits.

>implying you pedos won't make an exclusively potato party

Please, there is a massive difference between your run-of-the-mill anime pedo and whatever potatoes are.
The last thread that had a toddler as its OP died in less than a day.

Also potatoes have shit stats for anything except healing.

>ywn be that sword

Potatoes are basically a party's portable onahole, aren't they?

Healers in general are party's onahole
There are also all the monsters and native people you can get

tfw I am a folded 1000 times steel katana but my master is a badass young man

So that's why Medico is such a slut.

>lmao4potatoes
Truly a weapon to surpass Yggdrassil

If the Abyssal God sees this he will die either from laughing or from second hand embaressment.

We really need a giant masurao boss quad wielding masuraos. Imagine all the katanas you can possibly get.
Seriously this is a total goldmine but the pixiv is an absolute barren wasteland. Where's a porn of masurao quad wielding dicks? Mandatory unlimited blade works edit? Assorted memery about sanzu crossing hitting anything including allies? Crossovers with other multi-weapon animu heroes? Even japs don't give a fuck about EOV reeeeee

How much desoeration is needed to unironically enjoy Persona Q?

Ask me in July when EOV still isn't announced

Story is garbo but you can just skip through it
It's super easy to break the game, balance is wack
Dungeons YMMV, they're pretty big and the layouts aren't bad but I personally didn't like how they're all gigantic puzzles

So moderate, I think I put the game down at the final dungeon out of boredom and I'd sooner replay an EO before finishing it

A lot more than hou have now.
You must be desperate enough if you even consider playing it .

Is it possible to solo the Abyssal God with a Buccaneer? I don't want to retire anymore or rest my whole party at this point

What's the V party meta?
I know the game is broken by default and lots of things need nerfs like certain classes damage output being ridiculously high like too good to be true levels of high, but what's the ultimate meta?

What are we talking balance-wise?
EO3 levels where some classes were badly designed but usable with some classes overperforming because of oversight (Yggdroid vs. Shogun)?
Or EO2 levels where some characters were outright designed to be utter trash while other completely made the game their bitch (Landsknecht and Survivalist vs. Dark Hunter and Hexer)?

You can solo Abyssal with Farmer, so yes.

You're talking about their lucc stat aren't you?
Just because one class can cheat doesn't mean they all can.

I think EO5 is pretty well balanced, but I haven't been here since it released; so I don't really know any general consensus.
Cestus is broken as fuck, dealing huge, reliable damage + binds, which can be followed up with even higher damage.
Fencer is pretty bad. The dodge build is way too unreliable, and will insta-die from one attack landing on her. The chase build is probably good if you build around it, but I haven't tried that yet.
Dragoon is a pretty typical defender class. The gun build is underwhelming, but fun. I'm trying to build a party around it currently.
Reaper is crap. Having to rely on miasma weapon to activate before you can inflict ailments is irritating, and even if they didn't have this gimmick their damage would be underwhelming.
Necromancer can do anything, and so can fit in any team. In my opinion it is better to have classes dedicated to specific jobs than an all-rounder, but I do like necro, and think they can allow some cheesy tactics if built right. It's a shame they clash with other 3rd slot classes.
Warlock is a magic class. Pretty vanilla, but good at what it does. I don't like the 6 elements build since each spell has a seperate effect, which makes for unreliable damage.
I like hound. I think they probably become good late game, and they're helpful early game. They feel very weak in the middle area though, and don't really have any signature skills to build towards. Hawk and Dog are evenly balanced imo.
Masurao are good. Both builds are strong too. Multi-sword is unreliable, but deals crazy damage (cestus still deals more though); whereas 1 sword feels like Ronin always should have done.
Herbalists are your standard healer. Chase heal is a great skill. Their luck is kinda low though, so I don't like ailment herbs that much.
Shamans are weird... I don't like them, and haven't used them.

Best party is probably:
Ces;Mas
Dra;Her;War

imo

>dragoon in back row
what even for

Literally any class can solo the game with /ninja

There's as much reason to put them in the front as the back.
If you grab Dragon Force then you can cover the back row's low Def, while focusing line guard on the front row.

...

what is happening here

Chace fencer can deal exetreme damage if everyone in your party does an elemental attack coupled with double chase and you got yourself some cheese.
Also if you have loadsa buffs from shaman it will reck everything.
It seems like you haven't experimented much, have you?

Twink males, built chicks.
Laughing stocks in /int/

I've been playing the game on and off since I got it on release. I have 1 of each class and always have the EXP sharing ring equipped at all times, so I can switch my team up when I need it.
There aren't many classes who can deal elemental damage, you've got Warlock, Necro (Fire & Ice only), Hound (Ice only), Masurao (Volt only). Or just standard attack with Shaman's elemental buffs.
I don't like how shaman's have no focus, and nothing that really distinguishes between their 2 builds. Necromancer has a similar problem, but it's not too bad there.

A team with strong basic attacks getting chased all the time deals game breaking damage. Shaman and fencer makes a good combo if you put them together.

6 elements is good because Alter's damage increases every time you hit a weakness. And Petrification is strong. Multistrike provides more of a damage boost on average compared to Compression.

I've played around with a Reaper, and Preemptive Weapon makes them a lot better. Poisoning or Panicking a row at the start of a battle is pretty nice. They can be good damage dealer in the right situations. I find them to be a pretty flexible class overall.

when's the fan translation for 5 starting up lads

I might give it a shot when I retire my party for post game.
Fen(B);Mas(A);Rea(B)
Sha(A);???

I'd guess something like that is the chase "meta"

Hound is a good healer +pierce damage dealer.
Pierce damage gets chased no matter what, so it doesn't have to be a basic attack. Bird pierces don't get chased for some reason though.

Dungeon RPG must die.

...

Ricky must die.

Q Q SEKA Q

Teach must die.

That's my favorote mode to play in.

What's your opinion on the Mediko or Mediko mode?

I see, thanks for the input.

Medico is overrated.
Onee-san Medic is clearly better.

...

We all know who is the superior Medic anyway.

No More gays

Is the user doing a solo fort run here? How's your adventure going?

My whole life is a solo run

I'm more interested in that user from a while back that was running an all princess guild in EO3 while waiting for EOU2.

Why is she in a dryer?

To get dry, obviously.

Monkeys are assholes.
It's actually not as impossilbe as I feared but sometimes surviving long enough to kill everything is tricky.

Dandy Medic is probably the best male portrait we had before Hulk Cestus.

Can crossing the sanzu chase chain skills?

Chasers can't chase chasers in the series, so no.

Sanzu will chain with one two, that's the only multiple hit skill that I've cared to try.

>slut mode
Why

Why not?

give sauce like right now

What is that random bow of light doing there?
Also she would be shorter than him if Masurao wouldn't stand on stilts.

Would it seriously kill japs to sign their pics with a twitter handle if they are going to post stuff there

They all learend how to use the internet from Nintendo.

No like seriously i don't understand how are they so proficient at videogames if they suck at computer everything else, shit is ridiculous

If the only ones actually using computers are super shut-in nerd their knowledge will not be spread to anyone.
Even those few that have an actual computer at home barely use it since they work like 16 hours a day.
Only now as smartphones allow to have the internet with you while commuting to work are they slowly starting to adapt - at least to social media.
Since they still not use proper PCs the general population is still pretty computer illiterate.

Hey it's the new user from the other night. Are there certain skills I should avoid when leveling up? I put a few points into TP up, but it seemed like really marginal increases. Please Advise.

What would be an interesting duo to take on le milenom girl with? I've already done R/DH.

I was considering either a Protector/Alchemist combo or a Troubadour/Landy combo.

Passives are ususally a late game thing. They increase your stuff percentage based so on the early game the effect is negligable.

Masteries are also usually not that great since they are weak even for passives. Only bring them up to the rank needed for the active skills you want.

Which game are you playing?

Regardless, you shouldn't really invest into most passives until you've maxed more important skills. There are a few remarkably good ones, but TP/HP up are not among them.

Basically anything that doesn't contribute to whatever unit is supposed to do, like any non-defensive skill on protector
The process of getting skills is generally getting the bare essentials first (like front+back guard and all elemental walls for protector) and then leveling them up just enough so they have a desired level of effect while not raping your TP bar (returning to our protector it will be 3-4 for the first stratum or two, it should be enough. Try leveling everything equally unless the skill is essential, if you overlevel something you'll get rekt when monsters change the way of attacking and the needed skill will be underpowered)

Thanks. Current Party in EO:2U is:

Beast | Highlander | War Mage
Sovriegn | Alchemist

Positions look okay? Any horrible skills to avoid on these guys?

Your Beast should ignore all damage skills, your Alchemist the Palm skill tree.

Royal Veil, Triumphant Cry and Monarch March might sound good but they need way to many skill points for what they do.

Highlander basically anything that not has them deal damage. The other skills are super niche and most are better on other classes but pretty bad on Highlander themselves.

Yeah, I just reset everyone's skills, went for the Royal Veil, Triumphant Cry stuff, realized my mistake pretty quick. Managed to get a bloodlust 5 grimoire for the beast, figured that was a pretty good fit. Will that keep dropping better versions of itself, or will I need to use my highlander to get higher versions of it?

...

Grimoires can only be as high as the skill rank already is. So at most you will get other bloodlust 5 grimoires.
However some food items make it possible to get higher Grimoires.

But while Bloodlust is not the worst thing your Beast can have it's not that good that you really want to use it for the entire game.
So don't stress yourself over it.

Cool, cool.

...

20 more days until EOV localization announcement.
