Griffons will shit all over you if they have atleast demi-competent pilot in them. Your best luck is either G-14, or Doras. D-9 is 5.3 now which makes it very viable.
I am saying G-14 becouse it's the least turdy one. K-4 feels like a brick and G-10 is better gunpods, hence bomber-hunting missions. I would say that Dora's/Ta's are just better than 109s right now.

Some kind of coding issue. Causing game crashes. It would have been something they changed after the last test server was open. So it sounds like an issue incorporating an as yet non-public feature, probably the PvE mode. Smaller chance that boats is going open beta.
As soon as they've got it fixed they'll reschedule the server down time and release 1.67. There have already been multiple updates to the dev server since they delayed it last night, so it looks like they're working overtime on it.
