Besides Fox bodies, One the first things I think of when it comes to 80s cars

probably the most tasteless decade in human history

this is a 70s car but whatever some of the tuning cars of the time are cool

Should be in Alpine White

...

...

...

FYI this has turbo just in case it wasn't clear

needs these

The GOAT

I know pic related was made between 89-93 but it's the first thing to come to mind

Nice!!

...

My older brother had this car lol!!

Now *that* is 100% pure, uncut 80's

I want one, Veeky Forums.

lol!!

How about communist 80s?
Dad still drives one, although it is a bit rusty, more like a lot. They were extremely popular back then and I absolutely love how they look.

...

Oh my gosh I am so sick of the 80s revival trend. I think I hate the 80s

the trend is already overplayed and dead though

even the 90s has come and gone

its about 2000s nostalgia now but Veeky Forums is slow

i legit got bloodflow to my member from seeing this picture

>ywn have an immaculate Subaru XT

>Hating the 80s
>Objectively the best decade of the past half-century

This is amazing senpai

>2.8l V6
>125hp
all American cars were 100% garbage from 1974-1997

>what is torque?
>what is a throttle?
no fucking clue, the post

Took a 4.0L i6 in a first gen Camaro to make 155hp, and even earlier, a 5.8L Packard Eight made 165. It's not that they were garbage, it's a combo of old technology, burgerfats preferring large displacement, understressed engines and the EPA enforcing stricter and stricter emissions regulations without giving manufacturers time to develop anything to make it pass, so they could only lower compression, put in shit cams, restrict the intake with 2 or even one barrel carbs, and mount catalytic converters that barely flowed.

This was also happening at the same time as the oil crisis and labor unrest in Detroit, which also pushed for downsizing in everything for fuel economy. Hard to make any power when you have to worry about emissions and fuel economy, especially when the fatcats up top won't pay for r&d to do anything about it.

Nothing was fast at that time, not even European cars (in the US market.) I know memeing on burger cars is easy, but it's not totally their fault.

Nice blog m8

Is the lesson here to buy a Ferrari?

If you're a fucking child, I suppose.

WRONG

I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel.....
I want to drive you through the night
down the hills..........
.

I have to agree with the other user, alpine white is the way to go with E24s. If I hadn't just jambed another car I would paint mine white but I'm going to keep color change paint jobs to a once in a decade occurrence, way too much work.

Hot!!

Nice troll niggerfaggot

And I like them all

...

holy shit is that a Nissan branded DOM, where can i get one and how much

I miss my old turn gen :(

That's fuckin baller

I know the E34 was mainly built in the 90s, but it was my dad's car when I was 3 years old. good memories

also the most beautiful 5er in my opinion

Holy shit those tires are tiny

You will hate life when you have to do anything with that front brake.

I used to have a white one. Great sounding motor. Hated those brakes.

I've never seen this particular model BMW outside the shitty John Candy movie where Dan Aykroyd has a cock for a nose

The E34 and the E39 are by far the best looking ones.
I like the looks of the F10 aswell, but it's a huge pile of shit unfortunately.

85-95 was best decade. Prove me wrong.

the 80s were awful

The E24 is in a much more famous 80s movie

...

Kys

Why is it so hard to just post pics of 80s cars instead of shitposting
>inb4 muh i don't have any car pics on my fone

fucking phone posters

I had bigger pics of the GTP but their all the 1990 version

...

Look how happy they are knowing their 924 has rear drum brakes like a pre-war tractor

...

>2300 lb curb weight
yeah it really needs some 14" discs with 8 pistons in the rear

geez can't take a little banter? And besides the Turbo model came with standard with disc brakes on all four wheels

>communist 80s
In my country they basicly had a single somewhat available car.
You had to wait up to 17 years to get one.

>5,7L V-8
>225hp
