If you've got an android phone and you are outside of the 4 countries where the companion app doesn't release until the 20th, you can still download the apk file from the playstore. There are website like apk pure that circumvent the store front and grab the apk file from the store as long as you've got the app name.

A quick question, what decides the region lock on origin? The country of residence in the EA account settings?

When I bought DAI I was stuck with polish/russian menus and subtitles and the translation was really fucking bad, somehow they even managed to get several things wrong. Thank fuck I still had the english voices or I'd go insane.

I don't care if games in my region are cheaper, I want to get a complete english version without a half-assed translation. If I change my country of residence in the EA account settings to UK for instance, will I be able to buy the full english version?
