Knives / Gauntlets / Rifle? I haven't played any other Toukiden games so I'm messing around with the demo, but the testing missions don't explain shit outside of basic mechanics. Any tips for these?
Josiah Hill
You alright there user? Wrong thread maybe?
Jaxon Morris
>twats
Steiner no Come back we're sorry
You still need to localize umaru
Benjamin Myers
>waiting for trash localizations
Austin Martinez
I know there's gotta be something, so I'll ask again.
Are there any cute em ups I can play on my vita? Alternatively, any good Japanese shoot em ups other than Darius?
I was really hoping some of my favorite PSP shooters would be on JP PSN, but I can't find Burunyanman nor Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire.
Bonus question: In the previous sentence, would it make sense to use either of the words 'either' or 'neither? I never understood this grammar point following a negative clause.
Daniel Ross
Well the most important thing for gauntlets would be to get the timing down right for infinite square combos, also atk mitama are well suited for them and with some other boosts you can make it so your O ora ora ora lasts an eternity.
Easton Brooks
we love you user
Hudson Ross
Toukiden 2 looks like a PSP game with worse FW mechanics. Skipping out on this shit. No wonder it didn't sell well.
Michael Wright
That's when you press square moments before you hit, right?
Maybe I'm used to faster-paced hunting games, but that feels so slow. Am I doing good enough damage by just accurately hitting square?
Brayden Mitchell
Well it would be best if you first softened a part up with the fire move that weakens the enemy. Most of your damage will come when you see an opening and can do the entire O combo (don't forget to time those hits too for extra damage).
Samuel Stewart
"But I can't find either Burunyanman or Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire."
"I looked for Burunyanman and Ginga Fukei Dentsu Sapphire, but could find neither
Cooper Thomas
Thanks user
Evan Gomez
I'm rotating through the choices using the 7 missions as practice, and for Gauntlets I'd do a charged uppercut (triangle) and then just hit square / circle whenever I could with that one power up that boosts damage. Aside from the timing, is that the entire fighting style of gauntlets? Not that I'm complaining since I'm having fun, but if there's more to it I'd like to know that too. Like, I didn't know the O combo had bonus damage with precision too.
Elijah Collins
No worries friendo, I fucking hate English but I teach it
Thomas Cook
The genki blonde on the left and the the redhead on the right with the twintails.
I don't know why, but I seem to have a thing for short girls.
Ryder Bell
>Rakugaki Showtime is on PSN Why didn't anyone tell me this?
Carson Adams
Lolis are great
Xavier Lee
You can also exit from any Square combo attack into a triangle move. Also it's one of the few weapons with a formal block move to minimize damage so don't ever forget that you can tank most shit with it.

Thumbelina is wonderful, she's my 2nd favorite

I probably should've saved a certain post-game boss for it, ended up doing the farm money one last again, least it's not as bad as the Nep ones.

Camden Sullivan
It's always "either" with a negative like "can't" or "nor," since "neither" is really "not either" and would result in a double negative.
Eli Hill
Yeah the thorn feels clunky. There are also a lot of touch screen controls. Probably needed more buttons like the R2/L2. Still enjoying it though.
Leo Watson
In my search for shmups, I found another Puyo Puyo clone on the JP store with loud anime girls and lots of bouncy breasts.
But 4'11" is just as fine with a E cup as with a AA in my book.
Nice wallpaper.
Bentley Clark
You have lots of bean machine games on vita, user
>sun >no tsuu >no puyo box what the fuck PSN
Benjamin Brown
What was the point of Logy in Atorie Sofi?
Ryan Fisher
Fujo dosh
Michael Ramirez
Fucking Ubisoft. I want this in the NA store, damn it!
They wouldn't even have to localize it.
Carson Hernandez
>tfw my Japanese teacher used to participate in puyo tournaments Japanese people are hardcore.
Asher Robinson
What does Ubisoft have to do with this?
If you want an actually great puzzle game with lots of bouncy girls that is on NA PSN (in Japanese), go play Money Idol Exchanger. It fucking rules.
ばたんきゅー
Jaxon Diaz
But he had barely any scenes with other men.
Nathaniel Davis
You don't understand fujos
Dominic Flores
Errr, wait, this might be called Money Puzzle Exchanger on US PSN. Something like that.
Benjamin Gray
As I understand it, Ubisoft seems to have been granted exclusive rights the distribute Tetris and Tetris clones in the west. No one is going to cut them in just to put stuff like this in the NA store. It's the same reason we're not getting Puyo Puyo on Vita in the west.
Technically, I guess it's "fucking The Tetris Company, LLC," though. They're the ones that sue anyone who tries to publish anything that even vaguely resembles a Tetris clone.

user was right, Hakase is best.

Oh, that's an old NeoGeo game. That could be good, then. Thanks for the recommendation.

What'd I miss? Can someone either repost here or post it in Discord?
Camden Russell
Oh, okay, I thought you were talking about the kusoge I posted, not puyo puyo tetris.
If it's okay to have it in Japanese though, why not just import the game? It's not expensive at all.
Matthew Sullivan
1-2 Beat Demon Gaze 3-4 Umihara Kawase 5-6 Buy PS1 games 8-9 Play PS1 games 0 Slumber
Carter Fisher
I was kind of talking about both to some extent.
But yeah, I can import for stuff that's physical. I only have one memory card, though, and I don't feel like dealing with the trouble of maintaining two accounts. So I wish that some of the stuff that's in the JP store was in the NA one, too. It's not like the NA store doesn't already have some games that aren't localized.
The vita is dead. Buy the Switch for the ultimate supported handheld experience.
Luis Bailey
Unity on the vita is automatically terrible. Look at Galgun Double Peace, which isn't exactly a pretty game. That game's lucky to get 15 FPS, and at launch had 3+ minute loading times.
Caleb Lewis
No cake no buy
Thomas Johnson
The doctor, Miko, is probably cake. You can't eat her, though.
Landon Morris
Switch is the size of a tablet. Way too big for a convenient handheld. Nintendo somehow managed to combine an XBOX HUEG screen with controllers designed for children.
Also, it has NO GAEMS. I'll take having (almost) the entire Ys series over one Zelda game.
Juan Allen
Is she playable?
Kayden Ortiz
No. It's the Chishiki Girls squad, not the Chishiki Hag squad.
Owen Clark
Playing the demo, Toukiden 2's localization is utterly awful. A lot of things are just weird, isn't natural, slightly missing the context, and many explanations don't make sense.
There's even something like this.

They go the cheapest way with their localization if they aren't big titles. Though having played Atelier for some time now I'm used to rough localizations. Honestly prefer that to NISA shitting places with funny jokes like Esty Dee.
