Veeky Forums exists as containment for the ks threads that appeared in /v/

I came in shortly after the exile, but the KS threads bounced around from /v/ to /a/ for a while (neither wanted us) before settling (read: getting quarantined) in the newly created Veeky Forums. A couple years ago, there were also some KS threads on /b/ for a while, but those eventually died.

/v/ Hates everything, bud. They hated it before Veeky Forums was created, and after that happened this essentially became a containment board.

Ironically /b/ didn't hate the generals, they left us alone and a few people even joined in.

It's a bit of a weird situation.
When KS first came out, a good portion of /v/ went nutso into it, pretty much the beginnings of ksg. It came to multiple KS threads being on /v/ at any time. People got sick of it, they wanted it out. It didn't get out fast enough, so the hate grew.
