Resist reductions acts on the cap. So let's say the monster has 100% fire resistance. The cap is of course 75%.

If you apply 30% reduction and 20% fire pen, monster fire res will be reduced to 70% (100-30), and then your 20% fire pen will damage the monster as it had 50% (70-20) fire resistance.

As far as I know, that's how it works.

Deaths at 90+ in softcore are more soulcrushing than hardcore rips unless you're 0% xp cheesing content

I think it's obvious the supply of them is going to outpace the demand, even when Zana was available as a Chaos sink (and lots of people did indeed use it), they peaked at about where they are now at 72:1, but now that sink is gone, made obsolete by leaguestones in the same way master crafting hurt chaos crafting. That means that aside from slamming them on crap items with good bases, they have zero use whatsoever. So what will GGG do next to make sure Chaos Orbs end up just like Gold in Diablo 3, where it ends up useless but everyone just accepts it has value because it's what everyone's been using since the dawn of time?

Damn, considering that, much like Life, you start out with x es and gain y es every level, this is very imbalanced and should be addressed in 3.0.

Physical damage needs a status ailment, like "break" reduces armor by 1000^stack per stack, not a lot to an armor stacking character (due to diminishing returns), but a lot to a ES character

Well yeah, the supply of Chaos is increasing at an accelerated rate compared to Ex. Of course the rate will keep inflating until the turning point when the League is actually considered "dead" and it stabilizes due to nobody giving a shit anymore.
Especially with so many more sources of Currency with every League mod, it's been flying high faster than ever.

Phys already has a Penetration equivalent. If your damage is past a certain threshold relative to their armor, it's the same as the enemy having less or even no armor. That's why even with 200K armor, builds can still get 1-2 shot by huge Phys hits. Cause Armor doesn't do shit against big hits.

Maps usually need to be run and completed as Magic (early maps), Rare (mid ones) or Rare+Vaaled (late ones) to be completed for the Atlas.

Pictures, cause that's confusing. To complete a map, you gotta kill the Boss.
To get the Bonus, you gotta kill the Boss in a Map which is Magic/Rare/Rare Corrupted depending on Map Tier, up to 5/10/16 respectively.

Completion puts a symbol like the Map in inventory on the Atlas.
Bonus Completion puts a big grainy circle around it.
Completion allows that Map to drop anywhere if level req is met. Bonus Completion gives you a stacking 1% chance for any Map drop to be +1 Tier.

The wings massively clash with everything except the helm, weapon, footprints, and Blasphemy Auras.
The core of your character is a mish-mash of weird gear that makes you look like a gimp with the head of a belly-dancer.. who has golden seraphim wings for whatever reason.
It's downright ugly.

Armor does plenty against big hits.

10k armor reduces the damage of a big hit by like 700 to 900 or so.

That can be the difference between you hitting your flasks and getting one shot.

the real problem with armor is that it does nothing against elemental damage
