That doesn't bode well, I remember the small burst of threads for this game when it became available and one user had taken a drilling machine into an ocean, the tunnels he bore out of the water was mesmerizing to me. Then a little later in the same thread, someone else found a steamroller and paved a route over their local lake. I would have checked it out at the time since silly things like that are my jam but didn't have time on top of the usual weariness of early access titles.

The dungeons are tedious but they are neither necessary, not hard to circumvent. Just dig giant holes in the ground where the key and the chest are marked on your map.

It's a combination of Vampire, Evil Knight and Zombie Pirate. Vampire mostly for its regeneration, the bat form can get annoying at times. And the black katana makes fighting zombies far easier.
