if you'll ever use an HP cut you'll notice that the damage number of the cut is still the color of the unit and not typeless damage. color barriers will block health cuts of particular colors

Weirdly, typeless damage is still blocked by colour barriers. For example, in Kizaru's Raid, Inthawk's special will go through his shield, you'd think it's because it's typeless but LL's special gets blocked by the shield, which is typeless too.
So it's actually because Inthawk is INT and LL STR. I guess colour shields mean they reduce damage from whoever is attacking, regardless if it's typeless or not.
