I don't regret it. I started with an account with her summer version and pulled Varuna recently. Next grid to make is a Auberon grid for her.

She's a cow, which means she's going to get crit. Auberons give crit, and she has a skill that amps crit damage (stacking.)

She's going to be a monster.

I didn't imply any of that. It's just that in a world with off-element reduction it's good to have at least a couple teams in different elements to make it easier to do more. Plus it gives you stuff to work on while you save up your crystals. If you're saving up but only have one team you'll just end up fucking bored before you can even spark.

in terms of character:
axe for solid earth character attacker + waifu
dagger for debuff/buffer + if you are gay
fist for crazy sick dark attacker
gun for fire waifu + buff for drop rate
bow for light waifu and bunch of debuffs

You don't have those characters for months and months and get bored of the game in the second option all for 1 (one) guaranteed SSR. You also don't have any good gacha summons or weapons to carry your damage early.

harp is good for elements like water/dark + fire (if you don't have xeno ifrit axe + T4 class like zerk of aspara)

If someone doesn't know what weapon to pick they likely don't have daggers.

They should focus on getting daggers before the weapon of the character they want because they're not finishing that weapon within the next month so it's wasted while a dagger is useful as soon as they get 50 silver certs.

It's only viable with Nebu.

Anyone who would ever complain about this game being boring for any reason picked the worst possible game in the first place. All you ever do is beating on the same boss over and over. Using the same characters to do so for long periods is barely worse.

There is such a thing as rerolling which you seem to have forgotten about, which you can do to get yourself a good starter SSR pack for multiple elements. You don't need to blow more than 6k crystals in the very beginning to get good shit and a few extra fillers with free rolls later on to get decent characters in multiple elements to carry your noob ass through the ~8 months which you will spend grinding your magnas, events and other shit. All your shiny SSR lineups will be useless without a finished weapon pool to support them and it will take a year or more to get those for all six elements.
