IT was really fun, but it could drag a bit in some parts or routes.

All the girls are cute, and great. Headmistress is a "bad guy" done right as in its almost impossible to not hate that thundercunt. The weakest part of the game is the conflict resolution.

Which one is easier to read as far as kanji / vocab goes? WA2 or Muramasa? I know a handful of runes.

It was easy to hate her but her motivations were horrible so "done right" is not really correct.

That is one tier off the bottom of the bad guy scale where the only thing worse is they are bad because they are bad.

I haven't read WA2, but I think It is easier because it seems just a modern drama. Muramasa has a lot of old kanjis and author likes to use a peculiar combination of kanji as a word. For example, 劒冑=Tsurugi(剣).(yeah, well, tsurugi is a word for living armor, so that doesn't quite add up to "sword", I know, but you get the point.) It's not a problem with the texthooker though as you just add it as a name and every time it is written in red above that combination.
The grammar was rough in the beginning, then I just adapted. There are infodumps about history so that can be a bit hard.
So if you are new to moonrunes and feel like you can enjoy the kind of story WA2 has to offer, do it. I read Muramasa after a year of reading in jap. Sure you can do it earlier(I just didn't hear about it and played other VNs that I was interested about), just you gotta really want to play it otherwise it might be easy to give up.
