anything 90's gm or euro make my penis hard
I have no idea why, but I find '90s Fiats strangely appealing.
Gotta love that colossal depreciation too.
I liked the Saturn Sky.
...
...
it might be an absolute dogpile to drive any fast, but I love that styling
Me too, man.
I still want one.
Wait, isnt that an Opel?
It was sold in Europe as the Opel GT as well, yes.
>264hp
>turbo
Didnt expect that, now i want one too.
Apparently the chassis is on point as well, and those engines can make much more power relatively easily.
Only downsides I can see are the cheap feeling interior, completely useless trunk and the fact that it's right around the same price as a Boxster S.
...
Yea, they sold the redline edition in the states. Can find really good ones with like 50k miles for 10kish and they have decent aftermarket/tuning so you can be at 300hp pretty easily.
...
Ive been looking for one of these. Pretty sure the Sky never got a factory hardtop, but I'm pretty sure that the Solstice did.
Pontiax Solstice GXP with a hardtop.
HNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG
I'd like have a solstice, or especially a sky redline, but I'm gonna go for something a lot more plain looking. I'm starting to save up and find myself a good Ion Redline to DD, can't wait.
iirc there's whole companies based on aftermarket for the ecotec engines that all these cars came with
Basically any generation Celica, I especially like the looks of the last two gens. I'm really split on getting one
Alright, I'll be that guy.
always see a fat woman driving one
Miata a cute.
...
I love the look of these things
>regular-ish cars you would like to own, solely because of how they look.
Front wheel drive meme car.
Fairly boring
But the looks!
Posted before seeing this.
At least I'm not alone.
...
i wish the escort rs came to canada
Same actually
:3
early/mid '90s GM had some great designs
...
I've owned 2 generations of Celicas. 1981 GT and a 2000 GTS. The 2nd and Last. I would kill for a First Gen Celica GT (77' in USA) Fastback, thats unmolested and isnt a rust pile.
Now I Drive only Subarus. I Had the First and Last Gens of the Leone (74' D
L) and a Loyale Wagon (94') First Gen Impreza OBS, and First and Last Gens Foresters.
Would love to Have a Subaru 360 and 360 Microvan.
forever and always
I don't ever want to own one because they're kinda shitty and maintenance is a bitch but they're so damn CUTE. They're also cheap and they're all over used car search engines, which means a lot of people regret owning them.
I still admire them when I see them though.
...
What the fuck is that.
The FTO is so good I don't even think about its drivetrain.
...
I seriously want one so bad. It's one of those cars where I absolutely don't care what anyone thinks, I just want to have it and enjoy it.
This car is smug as fuck, I love it.
>smug
Looks defeated/uninterested/indifferent to me.
...
The smuggest car to ever smug.
Some Lincoln markv I think it's called.
Loved the way it looks
Would have to de-badge that son of a bitch so quick but yeah it's crazy how nice that car gets once it gets a hard top. Those GXPs are like the CTS-V wagons though, unicorns that will prolly only pop up for sale once in a blue moon for a premium. People will say lul it's a Pontiac but it's still a very unique car an enthusiast will want.
>debadging a Pontiac
You're thinking of Saturn.
More of a "Seriously?" to me.
holy shit that face
MkII Supra
Not that user, but why debadge a Saturn? I think Saturn as a whole was pretty neat for a time
Gonna make all the boomers die of jealousy.
Literally the only things people ever say about a Prowler when it's brought up:
1. Boomers
2. V8s
3. Manuals
4. Bumpers
It's one of my favorite cars, but I can never, EVER mention it without everyone in the vicinity shitting down my throat about why it's bad and how I should feel bad.
>"I like the Prowler"
>"Bullshit, asshole, no one likes the Prowler"
>"Yeah, well I do"

Newest gen Ford Exploders. When I first saw the cops driving them a few years ago... fug
The suspension, chassis and transmission was supposed to be good on these, but like the 240sx Hyundai sourced a shitty engine for it.
It's got issues but it is a cool ass looking car.
...
that all looked exactly the fucking same
...
I've kind of got a thing for that last generation of full on boxy Volvos.
hi sullivan
I've always liked it, it came out when I was like 10 and it stuck with me. Thing's cool, despite its flaws I'd still drive one and enjoy it, very unique car
T W I N G O
It would be cool driving one of there around in burgerland
Face of a Down syndrome challenger
What is this?
>dat 90s bubble styling
>dat 3100 V6
>dat decent chassis
>sat sleeper potential
People (justifiably) shit on the au, but the xr6 wasn't that bad, and I like the front end

Real talk...
I may go buy this over the weekend for a fun car. My questions are simple:
1.) What's the aftermarket like for the 2.5rs if I don't want to do any swaps?
2.) Did I just make a huge fucking mistake by drawing attention to this gem?
...
Ha, bring money if you want the hardtop. That was only in production for one, maybe two years iirc. They planned to make more but GM pulled the plug on Plastiac. Shame too, to was turning into Ameriholden and I could use some Ute in my life
It was only made for 1 model year, 2009, and I think less than 1000 were built. But yea. Bring money.... then bring more money. The hardtops have held their value due to their rarity.
This guy unironically put his R8 in the garage to take a pic of the Prowler. For shame
Saw one a few days ago. Most people have no idea what it is and you really need to have a good eye to spot one.
Have you also noticed G8 GXP values persisting? I don't know how many they made total but paying 35k for a 2009 Pontiac with 50k miles seems... painful
Uh, the R8 is infinitely more boring. I don't see the problem here.
It's a 1 model year thing. Same problem as the Solstice coupe.
8/10 car that would be 9/10 if it had a manual option.

>3L Turbo Inline 6

>It's ugglyness has made them depreciate
wish i had nothing better to do with my cash , or i'd buy it in a heartbeat
fellow ausfag here
i legit dig these
xr6 manual was ok with the VCT
this poor car begs for a LS and T56 swap
the apex of 1980s rwd landbarges
Neons are little cuties.
agreed, so adorable
...
...
...
cute butt
reminds me of an Holden
cant figure the exact body kit tho
If only it was rear wheel drive
the first gen is even radder
...
...
Fiat Coupe isn't actually that regular, the 20v turbo literally tries to kill you at every opportunity.
I chirped the tires just driving from traffic lights.
Need to overtake? Here have some wheelspin
Oh it's cold today? Here have a freezing metal dash
There's a turn? Hold on while I torquesteer everywhere.
Great car though
Is this the only car to rock mad OEM 4-spokes?
Sounds like my kind of car, too bad I can't get one here.
Same
