I enjoy it, but there are both some people who are defensive about it, and some who constantly use it as a jumping-off point to start shit. The former is less of a problem, because there's always a middle way, but the latter will just keep going and going until everyone involved either goes apeshit as well, or just gets tired and fucks off.

Depends entirely on the topic and who is participating in the discussion. Conversations where people build upon each other's ideas or help someone understand something they didn't notice before are usually fun.

A handful of individuals have their pet topics where they respond with the same exact points every time, those are the ones I ignore.

That episode where Aku is sick and infects Jack with his essence and inadvertently corrupts him would probably mess Asriel up.

Come to think of it I think he'd have issues with any "good guy goes bad" story on any show.

My parents love that show and The Voice. They primarily watch it so see the judges' reactions. I think those sorts of shows have a designated hardass judge that's tough to impress, my mom seems to like that trope a lot.
