It took about 3 years for V3 to come out after UDG. The extra year is a bit understandable, given the jump to new hardware.

Since the Vita version had a lot of audio and screen tearing issues (Most of which being fixed in a fairly hefty patch), i'd imagine they'll pull a Cold Steel and make the next game PS4 only. (And Steam for us in the west, of course.)

Since they've gotten used to the hardware now, coupled with the V3 team working on an unrelated project, i'm gonna place my bets on 2020.

The fact that the next game would most likely use the PS4 version as based instead with V3 using Vita as base with upscale on PS4 means the textures might look even better along with background. Same with execution CGs and stuff.
