So as a returning player, how much should I invest into gearing up right now? I'm operating under the assumption there will be a new patch cycle relatively soon (?), and I don't really know/remember how much gear catch-ups happen in this game in new patches. I got my Guile now (with weapon and chest +12 and with good rolls), and otherwise kinda trash gear in the low 420s. Not sure how much I should invest into perfecting my Guile and getting into Ambush. Any ideas? Or am I just completely mistaken in assuming new content will be coming soon? t. returning player who hasn't played since late 2012

New content is coming soon(tm) but maybe 2 or 3 months out? If you really want you could go for VM but it isn't necessary. I mean it really never is, but it all just depends on whether or not you want to do it anyway to have a goal to strive for.
