Land Rover should be in there. They don't spring to mind immediately but its easy to get a £100K+ Land Rover with all the comforts (if not the build quality) of a Bently and all the torque of a performance car.

M4 GTS kills the R8 on track lmao. 7 series is leagues ahead of A8, 5 series much better than A6 etc.
James James
Show me a premium saloon offering from BMW that can compete with high-end Audi's.
BMW's are just shitty high-performance cars with carbon fibre extras for boy racers and posers. There's a reason executives buy refined Audi's

But not in any area that matters, they are less roomy, less comfortable, less well equipped, more noisy, more fuel hungry and more expensive.

M4 GTS is a stripped down version of the m4. The price is outrageous. I would rather buy an M4 and strip it down and end up saving 40 grand for the same car.
Hudson Perry
is that the car that Clarkson bought then sold within a year?
If High-end Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, and Alfa can be considered prestige, then high-end Ford, Cadillac, Dodge, and Chevy can, too.
Also >Prestige kek... This is the biggest cuckbait there is. Paying for a history unrelated to the car you're buying is a scam.

>is a meme'ing retard and doesn't realize he just described the Veyron. a straight-line speed prestige car It was a limited edition car so how is it even possible to track which cars went to what countries?? it was extremely desirable nonetheless and even in European used car sites they fetch extreme dough. it was also in GT3 which is not something straight-line cars race in.

you unironically think people are buying Aston Martin, Porche and Ferarri because of the history rather than their performance and luxury?

I would have to say Buick is the closest we have that fits your criteria. They are selling like hot-cakes as a high end prestigious car in China. They are all stretched out so the back seats are huge, since they usually are chouffered (sp?) around. I think Ford does the same thing, not sure if they're badged as Lincolns or what.

R8 gets fucked on track by the M4 GTS. S8 get its ass wiped by the M760li in terms of tech, comfort and performance. RS7 gets obliterated by the M5CP/M6. RS5 is literal shit, it competes with the 10 year old E92 M3 lmao. RS3/RSTT both get raped by the M2. BMW has been the top selling luxury brand for the last 10 consecutive years. >Sales of BMW’s flagship 7-Series, in showrooms since October, reached 3,392 vehicles last month, less than half the 8,473 deliveries for the competing S-Class. The Mercedes sedan has been on the market in its current iteration for about three years, though the sales figures include the newer coupe and ultra-luxury Maybach versions as well.
>Global deliveries of BMW AG’s namesake brand rose 7.5 percent in January to 133,883 cars, lagging behind Mercedes’s 20 percent leap to 150,814 cars. While Audi had the slowest growth of the world’s three biggest upscale car brands, with sales rising 4 percent, the Volkswagen AG unit still outsold BMW with 143,150 vehicles.

In the new world it's all about the common man making it, so even our high end cars are all relatively affordable Anyone can make their way out of poverty and fit right into higher society pretty easily since it's all new money, my family did just that in a span of 15 years
Meanwhile in Britain you still have a jarring class divide. You have the high end Bongs that talk all fancy like Emma Watson buying Range Rovers using old money, and then you have the lower class soccer hooligans that you can't even understand driving 1L diesel shitboxes They straight up talk differently and even if they did come across money they still wouldn't fit in with upper class society
Mason Lewis
The S Class really is a top seller there

>USA - ??? Cadillac, Lincoln and Acura, no?
>Why can the US not produce prestige cars that are desired by non-Americans? Well, one's literally fucking optioned out Hondas with an expensive badge and Lincoln is for old men.
Cadillac would probably sell well enough here, but they'd all have to be converted to RHD. They won't move in Yurop because displacement and emissions taxing and moronic safety requirements that get more and more outrageous by the year. It isn't worth the effort for them.
Owen White
What? Acura is japanese. Cadilac and Lincoln are just high level trimmed GM and Ford cars with no balls.
Jordan Baker
>Why can the US not produce prestige cars that are desired by non-Americans?
Buick is a prestige brand in China. I didn't even know they were still in business until a couple weeks ago.
If performance and luxury is all the mattered for a car to qualify as a "prestige brand," Cadillac and Lexus have it in spades and most of the Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc interiors and features aren't really any better than a Viper.
Sheeple just lack the intellect to see that words like "prestige" and "soul" is 99% PR and marketing hype that has no real substance. Only cucks are willing to pay a premium for an idea that makes themselves feel better about dropping that much more money on a new car.
