I'm on GMS in Reboot, I know that lvling a DB will probably be quicker but in reboot getting stonger is all about farming mesos for cubes so would meso mastery put a shad ahead in the long term?

it would help. haven't played either recently so I don't know how their farming compares, watch some videos or better yet make both and reach 4th job (lv120 for all skills takes a few hours max, more if you want hypers) and see what you like better. fun is worth a lot more than a little extra meso%.
