Get the legendary version. Mod it right away with some essentials. Don't go overboard to avoid instability. Install mods such as Ordinator, Skytweak, ENB if your PC can handle it, Ultimate Combat, Combat behavior improved, combat evolved.

Don't touch dragon mods at all, i am not sure how that would affect your first playthrough.

Install graphical mods as much as your PC can handle it, check tesgeneral.com for that. Start with essentials

I already know what I'd want to make as another character but it would be a lot of work. I've spent the past week and more doing pretty much nothing other than working on my mod set up and testing the changes I've made.

I don't want to do more work. I already feel bad anyway too. It would be great if I didn't care so much about how I'm perceived by others.

So I've been thinking I might just go back to what I was doing before I tried to get into this again. The silly part is that I have things almost exactly where I want them in regards to my mod set up for my game. Yet now my feelings and insecurities have gotten in the way of me being able to enjoy what I've labored so much for. : /

The problem is, people are working on the projects they want to work on. If you have someone who wants to work on BS: Morrowind, and you tell them they can't and they need to work on Cyrodiil, they're just not going to help you because if they wanted to work on Cyrodiil, they'd already be working on Cyrodiil.

They've never been a productive team, the fact that all they have to show for their work is a town consisting mostly of vanilla assets screams worlds about that. I severely doubt we'll ever see anything even remotely close to a real release.
