allright so since there still seems to be a lot of fuckery, here's what i understood so far, for other user to read and maybe someone else can correct me and we can stop arguing

>in order to unlock the 5* you need to fully max another completly different weapon from GW
>this weapon is unlocked with 10 silver shards
>you get silver shards by doing nightmare angel halos which appear around every 30 angel halo
>you do nightmare angel halo with one of the juutenshu in your party,doing that makes the boss transform into the GW weapon relative to that character and the transformed boss/weapon drops what you need
>once you get the weapon, it start at 0* so you need at least 40 silver shard
>once you got 40 silver shard, you need a bunch of elemental quartz for the final uncap
>after finaly uncapping the thing you need to awaken it
>awakening it requires, a gold bar, 10 damascus shard, 10 silver centrum, 5 red merits all 6 different elemental rusted version of the weapon (so 24 rusted weapon of the same element) 30 distinction of the class of the character you are trying to unlock and 100 star shards
>there are 2 way to obtain star shards
>the first is to break a fully uncapped GW weapon which give you 50 shard
>the second is to break your newly acquired weapon after leveling it to 150 (not confirmed?)
>after awakening the new weapon, you break it in order to obtain an item called "XXXX soul"
>you use this item in order to do a boss rush where you use the eternal you are trying to 5* in order to fight the remaining 9 eternal, this unlock the final cap
