BUT I WANT EEEET

ITT: Post cars you wish to own some day so that other anons can shit on them

Nissan 300zx, hopefully the tarbo version. It just looks so good. Especially the rear end hnng!

A Camaro ZL1. i may not be able to see out of it but i can definitely see myself owning one youtube.com/watch?v=ObpcGNCU944

This car's existence has actually inspired me to want to work harder in hopes of one day soon taking a cross country trip in it. it is my carfu in a sense.

>my carfu in a sense
>2017 model
>having a seasonal carfu

Fried egg headlights, lol.

Still would, especially that Carrera 4S.

I allready own a car that anons shit on.

Tbh I'd want a skyline GTT and 280zx

I've only ever owned trucks/SUVs and I really want something fun to drive in the mountains

same so I got an MRS.
its slow as fuck but that on rails driving and that snap whenever grip gets low

>not Targa

Targas are sweet too, but muh chassis rigidity...

I just really like them.

>ff memes

But the 996 Targa literally had a glorified sunroof. Doubt the roof structure is affected in any way.

i want this. A french luxobarge...

Where I live it's easy to get these cars for 1-3k

However they're all full of pepboys mods and fart cannons. Like the 240sx

Oh yeah, since both pillars are still there.
They're harder to come by though.

Really want to pick up a MG B. But Brit cars suck...but it's soooo pretty!

I just want to build a Mini out of reproduction parts.

A Z32 was my ultimate obtainable dream car also. A car purchase doesn't have to be practical or logical. It has its fare share of flaws, but what car doesn't? Veeky Forums will find a reason to shit on anything.

I don't regret buying mine. Buy it now before the last clean ones are destroyed by ricers.

What is your experience with the car?

>280zx
Came here to post this.
Actually, my dream garage would probably have something to trigger every busrider.

so gt86?

close friend owns one: biggest issue is the cramped engine bay and the fact that the fucking rb26 bolts right up but noooooo pigfat pisspowerless v6

fun to drive but too heavy
(i dd'd it for about 3 months while he was out of town just to keep it on the road since it liked to have starting and idling issues if it sat too long)

the aforementioned cramped engine bay leads to this issue as literally no one maintains the poor things.

just take care of it or source an RB swap but keep in mind that if you have the electronic leveling system prepare for costly repairs when it fails or a full delete

disregard me i suck cocks, i didnt see that you were referring to the z32 poster, my experience was with the prior model

More like cars similar to the 280ZX. They have other cars in the same family that perform way better but I decided to waste my time and money on the redheaded stepchild.
>280ZX
>Z31 300ZX
>1st gen CR-X
>3rd gen Prelude

I'll show you. I'll show you all!

Really want one but the meme tax is ridiculous, anyone have any experience with them? I've also heard they're maintenance heavy.

Two rotors wasn't enough

I've tried to like the FiST, FoST and FoRS but I just don't like it as much as the original Focus SVT. God damn I want this car so much. In this color preferably. EAP would be best. I'm looking for one with

I've got one with 82k miles on it. Bought it a year and a half ago with 75k on the clock. It's such a fun car.
Of course, I paid $5k on it because "hurr durr muh rare car tax". Still kinda worth it.

meme tax too much, they're pretty reliable but they're kinda slow for the price ur paying

desu buy a gtst if u want a 32 or a gtt if u want a 34

I'd love to have one of these imported one day, but I doubt I'll ever have the money to.

yeah they are gonna be maintenance heavy, you're basically buying a fossil car that is sure to have been beat on by dumb teenagers.

Financing a 13k car does not take that much tbdesu.

Forgot link.
japaneseclassics.com/vehicle/1991-pulsar-gti-r/

Fuck yeah. Nice, user. I'm jealous. I'd say 5k is definitely worth it for 75k miles, I wouldn't miss that deal. But still more than I'd like to pay for a 15+ year old car. And people sell SVTs with WAY more miles for the same price.

Most good hatchbacks from that era have that "i know what i've got" tax. People will straight up sell the shittiest EP3 Civic Si with 250k miles on it for 5 grand like they have some mint condition gem just because it's slightly sought after by a handful of autists like me.

I want to cosplay as the french president.

A nicely maintained and rust free Fiat 128

Pros
>Super aesthetic, you can literally paint it with shit and itll look good, hell, if you squint really hard it linda resembles a Lancia fulvia lmao
>Super basic engine components and you can literally get parts everywhere
>Forged pistons, race cams and such are really cheap compared to those same parts for other vehicles
>Can be acquired dirt cheap, all the way from 800 usd (which is cheap for a car where im from) to maybe 3k for a well maintained or properly restored one
>For 5k you can get an original factory race prepared

Cons
>Rust in these bitches is hard af. Its not uncommon to see rust paths in these vehicles on the rear quarter panels following the projection of water/dirt
>Fiat reliability isnt necesarily the best

...

I'll never be able to afford/justify one, but yeah I want eet.

I want one of these too, the fairlady with tt awd and the 4 wheel steering, but i cant find one and even if i did i cringe at the thought of ever having to fix it.

1-3k integra type R you buffoon?

youtube.com/watch?v=5mynvDGUjJw

Not for good ones. Assuming you even find one.

Are you sure we are talking about type R's?

>tfw just bought my obtainable dream car yesterday
I am in love

an 04 Impreza WRX is my next dream car

>white

nice, nice

LHD escort rs cosworth with ybt
>tfw

me

yea buddy. it's precisely what I wanted, NA in white.

r34 is still banned from importation into the us but no one seems to give a shit cause they still import them anyway.
Yeah I figured, I was originally planning to buy a beat up gtr to avoid meme tax but I figured it'll cost more money just to find oem parts and fix whatever is broken

As a Z owner, I had one of these and DESU, I fucking hated it. Always had issues. My Z33 DE had less issues.

In serbia, a slightly modified variant was produced until 2008

I want an mx73 cressida wagon.

old rwd volvo wagons are cool too.

I've always wanted one exactly like this, I have no idea why

I will own one, and none of you are going to stop me.

>4S
>4
No thanks
Nobody would shit on that, they'd just think you're a fucking madman
They'd be right

I want one of these. Back when they were still H6's.

...

Veloster Turbo...

I know I'm going to hell but I love small cars that look "toy" racer like

An MGB GT, if money isn't an issue I'd basically completely redesign it; different frame and suspension, small V-12, basically build a lightweight race car that happens to look like an MGB.

Whoops forgot pic

>small V-12,
Nigga are you stealing an engine from an 90's F1 team

Merkur XR4TI because cheap 80's 4-cyl turbo. I wanna strip it out a bit, throw in a roll cage and maybe do some bodywork to make it look nice. i like the original lines though, i dont know if i'd wanna fuck with it that much.

sue me for low aspirations, i'm just being realistic.

What the fuck

buy a gtst, with the money you save you can drop in an rb25 (bolts straight in) or you can just keep the 20det and get 350+ atw with bolt ons

>That sticker
Why the fuck would you buy that sticker
Why the fuck would you buy that car and then buy that sticker

>Florida
>Proud of a Veloster purchase

explains a lot

I'd try to get a Sierra front clip from Yurop.

Small enough to fit, so probably nothing bigger than a 5.3L jag or something. It'd be hilarious to rip a small V-12 from an old Ferrari though.

Me to friend. Me too.

that mx5 rf looks so pretty

too bad by the time i can afford it i probably won't even care anymore

I have one of those, 2+2 with a twin turbo engine swap

if you don't know your way around a wrench, you will hate every moment of it but that said, when it's all together and tight, at 24psi in 3rd, you'll have the biggest smile on your face.

I got one. Blew up within a month. Rebuilt the motor by hand. Been running strong ever since. Makes 400rwhp.

I love the car. My only complaint is it sounds like a garbage truck with a stock clutch fan.

I want to live the meme

Bolt ons like big injectors with tuning and turbo swap? Most people don't consider those simple mods.

>rb25 hi flow turbo $500 second hand
bolts straight on, literally just 5 bolts
>daechworks 600cc injectors $500
pull the old ones out put the new ones in?
>nistune $400
simple solder job, if you cant do it yourself pay $100 extra to get it done

All could be done in less than a weekend and less than $2k (probs will want a front mount and an exhaust as well but seriously even those should take an amateur a weekend if he has the tools I know because I literally did all this myself with no experience on my gtst

That fair lady Z is a dream car, trying to find a TT or a 350z this summer

>dying breed
if only

I just got home and saw a silver 300zx abused to death parked on the street.

If you only have "literally 5 bolts" holding your turbo on, you missed a few :)

Just try and shit on this beauty

I'll give you easy mode, 2017 NSX (since I want that too)

Same

minus the stickers and the two inches too long rims this looks good desu.

I just want to own a Lambo once

kinda

I've had a few BNR32s. The meme tax is justified but you better like getting dirty and memorizing the service manual. That is if you're not shitting money for labor costs on the perpetual restoration project the car amounts to.

What went wrong with the engine? Any aftermarket mods while rebuilding it?

I own an SW20 MR2, but damnit I've always had eyes for the EK9, since I was younger.

Are you my Dad? That sounds like exactly the type of shit he would do. He's even been eyeing up MGB GTs, but he doesn't have the funds to throw at something like that.

i know people are gonna think its a mustang II

Sweet 'Stang

I'd like to argue that they're not that hard to find, at least here in Wisconsin. I own an 02 SVT Focus with only 77,200 miles on it, bought it two years ago with only 54,800. It has a few problems with killing O2 sensors all the time, and the IMRC getting stuck open but otherwise it's an awesome car. I daily it, great in winter and better in summer.

There's a guy in our club up in Maribel Wisconsin who owns a company called Speedway Recyclers. Dude has over 60 SVT Focuses that he works on and sells.

Probably the best looking civic generation, a real timeless design.

I don't have a dream car desu
I plan on taking out a $160k student loan and buying a really nice car with it, though. What should I get?

>Saab 900 Turbo
Can't get this car out of my head since years. I spend a shit ton of money on new cars but never found the balls to buy a old Saab. Kill me pls

>Toyota Levin

guilty pleasure, pretty cheap to import.

I did almost 300 miles this weekend in my 2014 zl1. your gonna enjoy have that road trip one of these days

This is the best way to spend $40k, prove me wrong
Pro tip; you can not

Expensive for what you get, it's just a turbo 2.0L i4 at the end of the day

Hardly even see them in NZ, where'd they go?

literally the only reason I bought mine to completely replace everything and put a motorcycle engine in it

This or 3rd gen camaro.
