Viktor ult is actually a mine placed at the center of his blast marker. As long as you're not in the center of the blast and your shield is facing the center, your shield will take the damage from the blast.

I find that playing with russians in fps games alot less stressful than say Dota 2 because you don't have the worry of "you are soon to unable to win due to losing the gold/exp/towers game." The stats you get are the stats you have all game. Here you don't have to worry about a lvl 25 Tyra with 120% lifesteal, BKB, Butterfly and all sorts of other things.

All you've got to worry about is people with wallhacks and autoaim instead.

Seriously just buy wrecker and he melts like ice cream. His range is bad alongside his pathetic force push. He only appears OP because people don't focus him down and forget to buy Wrecker. Even when he recharges his health you can still burn that away and continue to murder him.

Good thing it isn't an instant cast ability. Honestly the 65% murder threshold is a bit too high. Maybe lower it down to 40-50% health and it'll be more manageable.

I play Pip a lot and everytime I see Torvald on the enemy team I already know victory is certain, the slow means that he's getting wrecked with no chance of retaliation while his support can do little to help.

Every blast damage hero and dps styled hero wrecks him, even more with Wrecker. If you get caught in a bad position where Torvald Team Rockets you off the map that's your own fault.

Any Pip tips? I like playing Pip but whenever I do I feel like I'm not healing enough.

First off you're not a dedicated healer. Second just throw your heal grenade at your whenever it's off CD. You're better off being a team nuisance with your slow, aoe damage and your moon jumping abilities.
