So I'm new to a bike with carbs.
I was riding like a week ago when it was decently cold and it ran weird. I did let it sit for a min and warm up fore I rode it.
Yesterday, when it was a good bit warmer, it didn't seem to have the same issues.
Idk why but I was under the impression that colder air was better, or is there something I'm just not seeing or understanding.

I was originally looking at the fz-7 and fz-9 but I got a great deal on it. 5k for a bone stock '12 with 3700 miles on it was something I couldn't pass up. It's just unfortunate because I'm in love with single swing arms now and refuse to get anything else.

Luckily I managed to find a guy that specializes in Ducati an hour away and has a really nice shop. I've put 8k on it and the only think I've had done was the valves it was about 220. He is open on Saturdays so you can just hang around talk with him as we works on it. The dealership was going to charge me about 800 for the valves so it's a good thing I found him. He let me take out the Zero Sr on a demo run all day in buffalo while he worked on it.

Just learn how to adjust your own valves

I love suzuki bikes. they have components that just work, like in the sv650 and DRZ400. they dont have the best or the newest technology, but they are reliable, cheap and east to work on. although i bought a Duke instead of a 650 or the DRZ

Is pic related? That creamy oil has water/coolant in it, probably a blown head gasket. The dropping level doesn't make much sense with that, unless it has done enough damage to the rings that you are burning oil faster than coolant in getting into the crankcase.

In fact, I just got my first bike that had them and it thoroughly confused me at first. I kept going to turn my signal off and it was already off. I thought maybe something was broken until I actually watched it cancel coming out of a corner.
