I never said they were supposed to be balanced.

PvP ops are objectively better because of the human element. AI in DCS will never ever be good enough to make good missions. Having actual players fight back makes every mission 100x more interesting and difficult.

I don't even know what the argument is. The MiG-21's in the viggen ops did great considering they we're at a massive disadvantage. Idk how you expected the MiGs to stop 6-7 viggens between the two of them.

Trying to assign a win/loss is dumb. Too many boats for the viggens to kill so they lose, too many viggens to kill for the migs, so they lose also.

I wish PvP ops would make a comeback, they are right.

I don't get what you mean by that but that thinking is wrong. Opfor should have it's own objectives. Thinking like that is why you think there shouldn't be pvp, it's sort of insulting. "Hey you're there for us to kill you lol thx for playing"

Opfor players didn't look at it that way, they had their objectives. That's how it should be. That's how you get more people onboard with that kind of op. It's the only time DCS shines.

Sadly DCS teenagers don't know what scenario based missions mean and go straight for airquake.

In the past me and some other mates in a group were testing fighter/squadron coordination and train for different courses of action in different circumstances. OPFOR's job was to just patrol along the border, turn its radar on and off a bit and then fall back to their airfield.
