After 6 months of playing I have managed to FC a majority of master songs at or below 25 stars, but DokiDoki Rhythm still eludes me. Getting close to S ranking it in clears, but at least the reward for that is cool.
Also had to play a bit after S ranking clears for Yuka's song for some reason.

Friends that started way after me are already FCing all these 26 star event songs like Lunatic Show with ease and I just can't.
At least my gacha luck is unmatched so far and that's what counts, right?
Don't need to be good to rack up jewels at least.

It's always better to use SSRs than SRs even if they're different stat focus from your center right? If I have a Visual center and have a Dance SSR in the unit, the difference in appeal from Visual stat would be about 4000 with the multiplier if the difference between the SR and SSR stat is 2000. The Dance SSR has a almost 4000 higher Dance appeal though which covers for the difference and then the skill is better which should make it the better choice right? I'm trying to break 1mil score for the first time.

No, not always. This entirely depends on the cards you have.
Easiest way is to compare and see the final stats the game shows you just before you start a song.

And of course the skill matters. For example, a healer SSR would almost always do worse than a combo up event SR, even if the SSR's stats are shown higher in this case.
Then there's the factor of how you've utilized idol potential.

If said SSR has combo bonus, then yeah, sure.

I always forget you can change idols on the pre-song screen to make comparing stats a lot easier. Ended up breaking the million anyway. Switching Hajime out for my next highest Visual idol increases appeal by 2000 and it's a 12% combo bonus instead of Hajime's 17% score bonus. Don't know which is better, score or combo but at least Hajime fills the Cool spot for the tri-color so I can use the Yuis on my friends list that tend to have more potential unlocked.

Combo is almost always better, but you need some kind of balance to have more skills active at once, as two of the same type don't stack. A good setup is two score/three combo. (Overload, concentration count as score)
