>V6

Lexmoto

Mazda did

Honda. can't wait for aftermarket to hit the NSX.

shits gon be cray

Dodge PentaStar

Have a (You), now run along.
Maybe not the best but I like the sound of the VQ engines from Nissan.

The Nissan V6 in the Z and GTR

literally the only thing Nissan does right

Toyota's MZ series we're pretty good. Too bad there weren't many with manuals.

I'd say porsche but it's a flat six because they're not fucking retarded

This

why do all V6 engines have terrible mileage? i4, i6, and v8 beat it in terms of mileage. What gives?

Chrysler, actually.

Dodge

>best
>v6
kind of a double negative there no?

Explain yourselves

GM or Nissan.

Alfa Romeo 2.9l V6 510hp.

Ford duratec/cyclone

...

This and
This

>nissan
Best v6 to add a quart every 1000 miles

thanks ferrari

>Memes as an argument

503hp*

*blocks your path*

>VR
>Same as V
(you)

I prefer pic related

Why is that one piston on the bottom right turned?

Nissan, duh.

It shouldnt be

V6?

Probably Nissan.

Still a polished turd.

Unreliable piece of shit

Novelty design

Broappeal.

how is best negative?
you mean an oxymoron, moron

>two negatives make a positive
what did he mean by this?

Mazda K8

>1.8L
>V6

cute, CUTE!

GM 4.3 TBI

I still see a shitload of Astro vans left, Most are used as trade vans so they live a hard life.

Chrysler V6's get a honorable mention considering most of them still left on the roads are probably running with little to no oil and withstand the abuse of a Dindu family.

...

The V6 in the new Camaro

Understanding this little about packaging and modularity... phew

Only thing I don't like is the sound

It weighs as much as a fucking LS and it's tall as fuck and hardly compact. It's a boat anchor.

Nissan duh
But the LS is trash

Pic related.

Since it is made by European car manufacturer metrics are used and only kW is approved in EU of measurement of power. Horsepower can be used but only as supplementary unit.

It produces 375kW and which converts to 510 metric horsepower. Metric horsepower is 735.5W and imperial horsepower is 745.7W.

From now on I will only use kW to be clear and not to confuse different units.

The 1mz-fe is pretty neat

VR30DDTT - 400 hp, twin turbo, twin water-to-air intercoolers, optical turbo speed sensors, electronic wastegate control

BMW makes the best V6's, or so says my rabbi.

Still want one tho

I like my VQ35DE
>revs quick
>revs smooth
>naturally aspirated so somewhat simple
>constantly abused with no issues

Ford did in back in 1989.

This under powerd, ugly sounding, Fail wheel drive, Murican' made v6.

>Ford

I think you mean Yamaha

better question is who cares?

did yamaha have any good bikes in 1989?

I dont know, this isnt DBT.

This. There were some annoyances. I'm looking at you intake and oil pan gaskets, but if you take even rudimentary care of it, it will run forever.

This ruined someone financially.

Mfw i had to change the spark plugs on my 300

Chevrolet 4300 master race

>3800

H(old)en

Nissan with the VR30DDTT

My 2nd fav Aussie motor besides the Barra turbo

Ok, so what is the best v6 to you?

...

this nigger knows what is up.

the 3.2 in the gen2auto was a tiny bit better though.

Head gaskets BTFO

Alfa Romeo of course.

Gm 3.8 for bottomend stoutness
Honda 3.2 for topend awesomeness
Nissan 3.5 for exhaust sexyness

Mines better..

boxer =/= 180° V

reliability is the only thing 3800s have going for them.

As to the best V6, I'll split this into 2 categories: Pushrods and OHC.

The best pushrod V6 you can get is GM's 60* V6 engine family with the shining stars being the 3400 and 3500.

The best OHC V6's you can get IMO is a tie between GM's High Feature V6 engine family (notable in the new Camaro and the ATS-V), and the Nissan VQ engine family.

now. these engines all have 2 things in common.
1: They all have 60 degree V angles, which makes them perfectly balanced internally and don't need balance shafts.
2: They all have the same exact firing order. 1-2-3-4-5-6.

Jaguar AJ126

Looks like a Nerf BFG

I agree. I have a vg30dett. Its a godly engine.

...but, it sounds like a garbage truck.

I'm partial to the Honda J30, myself.

Mercedes M272
Firing order 1 4 3 6 2 5
Cucks enjoy your 123456 boring firing order

mine has 300,000 miles and besides a little oil consumption is a hardy little engine

I bet it ticks more than a tourettes camp like every motherfucking Niggsan.

I thought you knew all there was to know about GM. the 3800's were 90°, just like the fireball V6, which was the designation for the family of engines that contains my personal lord and savior.

Also, the supercharged 3800's have lots of reliability in STOCK form, the naturally aspirated versions are underpowered AF and lel plastic manifolds that explode when it backfires.

Also because the series 2 3800 is so similar to the turbo 3.8 in the GN, you had speed parts carryover, which allowed people to truly unlock the potential within these engines, and now it has a massive speed parts following of it's own. I mean, an intercooler and a tune could gain you like 20 horses alone.

Jaguar.

You got the manufacturer right.

>Chopped california engine
>alfa romeo

Mitsubishi 6G7 series.

>Inb4 durr fwd
>Inb4 hurr abitshitty
>Inb4 durr muh v6 stang

Friendly reminder that Mitsi produced these motors for many Chrysler/Dodge models.
