I would say pend synchro has a chance with what's coming out a lot of the new cards spam from the deck and I haven't seen a card with a synchro restriction like in the xyz era.

Relatively speaking, Synchro may very well have been hurt the least from Links. It's really only the Accel Synchro crap that has gotten a hit, but Synchro aside from that crap should still work relatively well in comparison.
Of course this is all still with the understanding that Links will undoubtly reign supreme. But you must be pretty deluded if you somehow think Synchros are affected anywhere even remotely close to what Pendulums are.

Pendulum by far. Konami made tons and tons of archetypes that could benefit from filling their ED with Pendulums to then fill the board. This completely kills them. Igknights are a complete joke right now, for example. I have no idea how they intend on making new Pendulum decks from now on.
