I thought I was really cool for using Astora Great Sword until I started invading and noticed literally every other guy has one

So from the item descriptions it sounds like there will be a rematch with the Dragonslayer Armor in the DLC, I don't know if it'll be a bossfight with a title+healthbar at the bottom or whether it'll just be like an enemy similar to what they did with Bloodstarved Beast in Bloodborne's DLC.

This heavy buff fucked balance in all sorts of ways. Any non-infusable pure strength weapon is strictly worse than pretty much all of the infusable ones now.

The ending of the DLC1 feels odd to me. I killed Friede, then nothing happened. I went back to talk to the loli and got some new dialogue, then I talked to the friendly Corvian and got a slab. Is that it? Not missing anything?

So the new weapons have fancy new weapon skills and all, sure.

But the movesets are all generic, right? iirc the Demon's Souls engine that DaS1 and DaS3 use had movesets as hardcoded bundles, not as separate moddable moves like DaS2 did (which is why DaS2 had a lot of weapons with "borrowed" moves swapped around)

This isn't a "muh das2 is better than das3" post, just musing on how the new weapons in TRC are probably going to be less exciting than people think.

What was changed about them specifically? Someone earlier mentioned a heavy buff. Did the other two get nerfed?

I went through the item names that were added and those are the only ones. If there are more, they weren't added this patch.

Why do games look so good in 60 fps videos but when i'm playing it at 60 it looks no where near as smooth?

Only watch PVE streamers that are using fun weapons(aka not CCS and so on)

8 HP a second compared to 3; its overall duration is shorter, though

Seems refined has taken a hit on some weapons, i'd go take a look since obviously it's still build dependent, but seems like heavy and sharp are better in more cases now
