At least I can squeak the tires off the light

6.2L LS gasser on a crewcab with no ecoshit.

If I'm towing in a city I don't even want to think about my mileage.

>driving a truck to feel 'badass'
>not driving a truck because you are a badass and work construction or something not totally gay
OP just start jelqing and working out and youll have nothing to compensate for and you can start driving cars that are actually enjoyable to drive

Jesus how? 2.3l turbod for me (not ecoboost stang, they stole my engine) and I get about your mileage. Also squeak the tires off the light, still spinning into third.

>2001 Z71 Tahoe 14/18mpg

Law student here, my dad is a lawyer and i drive his old suv because we can afford $100 on gas every week and dont have to work shitty prolet jobs with the darker races

You'll be crying as soon as the Saudis decide it's time to start putting the squeeze on the USA

It happened in 1979, it will happen again

We are both mazda brothers ruining our own mpg through stupid driving then lol. I don't get to push mine in the rpms much since I drive small distance to work but I try to get as much as I can before I hit the person in front of me just for that sweet sweet intake/blow off noise.

I haven't actually calculated because I'm bad at math, but my foxbody was rated for 18 mpgs city when new, so I'm probably getting a good 14-15 with how I drive

1972 LeMans Sport, swap in 455, 3.73 gears.
6 MPG _highway_ mileage... Can't run on regular, premium all the way.

I want a sex tape of this woman so bad. Is she 18 yet?

Yeah but you did nothing, you're just driving a big piece of metal with a higher ride height.

Don't forget he's also blasting Linkin' Park and wearing Oakley's

Sounds pretty spooky, I agree.

02 Toyota Sequoia. It's reaching that critical point where the cost of repairs aren't worth it. Probably gonna get a hot hatch because while I still need a reasonable amount of space I also want to feel sporty or some shit.

shit man, i got that mileage on a recent roadtrip with my 'vette and I was having some fun too

i got that mileage with a 2.7L 4cyl tacoma with 31's. thats pretty shitty.

also
>drive lifted truck for 9 years
>get sick of driving a vehicle that drives like absolute shit
>buy a civic and drive the shit out of it because driving is no longer a miserable experience

and now i spend 1/3 as much on gas.

lol you are a man baby. trust me, your big trug does not intimidate anybody.

Synthetic oil in engine and differentials. Fresh transmission fluid. Those three helped a bit.

I avg about 16 in my 1998 explorer 5.0 awd. Which was better than my v6 jeep liberty that got 15 no matter what.

>1996 XJR

>11MPG average

I drive it like a hooligan though

At least its only $35 to fill up cuase the tank is small

35-40 mpg city, 45-50 mpg highway
I usually short shift everywhere, but sometimes I'll just ride around in the power band for the hell of it

>drive 2002 Ford explorer sport Trac truck

JUST

My truck gets 17 city mpg. It's the only vehicle I have but I like it and don't plan on replacing it.

My truck is currently getting about 10mpg but I'm assuming my spark plugs are shit. My car gets around 15mpg.

dude something is wrong. I got 16/20 with mine and 21 hwy if the A/C is on.

or you drive like a complete maniac.

I average around 10mpg doing a 50/50 highway/city split everyday. I only live 8 miles from work so I don't really mind. Highway only isn't too bad, gets about 16 empty, around 9 towing 5-8k. Could use more gear in the city/towing, the 351 doesn't like the 3.55's, really needs 4.10's. I enjoy driving my old rattly clunky 3/4 ton though so I don't mind.

>93 F-150
>around 11 city
>around 23 highway

But I can't give it up, it's so reliable. The only money going into it is gas, oil, tires, brakes, coolant, and insurance.

>08 Altima V6
>Realistically I get around 15 city/23 highway
>tfw get better mileage in my 98 Grand Cherokee

At least it's a fast V6 though I guess.

its just as much of a waste of money for anyone to spend that much on gas. it just shows that you are bad with money

no one cares about your metric bullshit

You actually know how much you spend on gas? I've got gas cards and corporate credit cards and I'll be goddamned if I pay attention to that shit.

>GEE BILLY, WHY DOES YOUR MOM LET YOU HAVE TWO TRAILERS?

12-14 mpg

I'd be driving a 10 MPG '89 Comanche if it wasn't in six pieces with a howling diff and jerry-rigged seat right now. Currently restoring the floorpan, trim and bench seat.

I rarely get over 4k rpm
At this point I should prob check the spark plugs and shit

my buddy just got a new huge truck with the biggest engine he could get. he is so stoked about it. he has been grocery getting around town with a 2.5ton dump trailer attached. we got on the freeway yesterday and he accelerated as fast as he could up the onramp and when i asked him why he needs to do that he said its becuase everyone else needs to know that his truck can haul

he just got the vanity plate 'popnbtl' so he is quickly on his way to his thrid dui

myself. i get about 24city, 28hwy in a 2000 2.5L MT ford ranger with a fiberglass shell, food, clothes a bike and a mattress in the back pretty much all the time. i accelerate slow as balls and drive in fourth gear on uphill highways and/or against headwinds

How far upstate do you live where 10 MPG is actually liveable?

t. long island

2012 CTS-V gets 15 mpg
It's my daily

Anything less than 19 MPG is kms tier for me. That's less than one liter per kilometer.

300zx, 20mpg on premium...
Spec B, 20mpg on premium...

Honda Fit, 35mpg on 87, yayy!!
Surprisingly fun to drive... all 3 are stick

Must be a mazdaspeed 6 or 3

Goddamn mini Cooper countryman S (old model). Turbo 4, 22.5 mpg average.

I drive a carburated v8.

14 combined mpg on my commute, but it just feels right.

thank you

>gran prix with the 3800 v6
>i fucked something up and its running on 3 cylinders
>averaged a little under 17mpg on my highway commute this morning.
Im just waiting for it to die at this point

hahaha. I mean, if you unplug the injectors and wires going to the three dead cylinders it will probably be fine?

United States is becoming more and more self sufficient on oil. Fracking boom and Texas basin is no joke.

Dumbest thing Saudis could do is jack up the price of oil. They'd get fucked.

Free boat and trailer for a boat/trailer race, didn't trust the trailer one bit so through it on the car hauler

Beautiful, someday I'll throw my 460 powered OBS back together.

yes, then lift it 4 inches

2005 f150 reg cab 4.6 V8 4x4

I don't even think about my mpg, i only put 6,000 miles on a vehicle in a year.

Most modern cars get between 400-500 miles on a tank of gas, regardless of whether or not it is a gas guzzler. A gas guzzler, a half-ton truck for example, will just have a bigger tank to get that 400-500 mile range. The difference is how much that 400-500 miles costs you.

So, yes, while you are filling up every 2 and a half to 3 days, your fill ups are much cheaper compared a bigger car.

>tfw watch brodozers and their drivers screech and ree when a scratch gets on their dick compensator
>meanwhile I have a ford ranger because I actually do things that require testosterone to be produced by your own body
Speaking of is it just me or do trucks just get fucking bigger and bigger now?
