Read the General problems FAQ before asking questions. If you still need help, post your specs (Speccy screenshot), operating system, emulator version number and details of what's wrong.
Please contribute to the wiki if you discover any inaccuracies or have relevant information to append.
READ THE WIKI BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS LIKE: >Where do I get games OR >What is the best emulator for...
Check out the wiki for the emulator you're using if you run into trouble, there may be a solution there too, often including recommendations for optimal game settings.
Remember to submit bug reports or shit won't get fixed.
I'm not about to write a proper widescreen hack just to take a joke screenshot.
But no, I can't imagine it's that hard.
Nolan Wood
Its time to stop Emugen is a dead horse
Aaron Martinez
You could very easily make a texture replacer with properly scaled HUD assets.
Bentley Garcia
Apparently, Dolphin has a proper widescreen hack on their wiki page, so the HUD is no longer stretched. Anything else would require a texture replacement.
>written in MSVC2017 >Windows 8 and up >uses OpenGL 3.3
What a clusterfuck
Robert Rodriguez
I was just looking for an easy argument and an excuse to bump the thread
Isaiah Kelly
So apparently Pokemon Snap renders everything in the player's field of view for photos rather than just converting the frame buffer into a texture, so you can apply graphical enhancements to previously taken photos in the gallery. Even widescreen hacks work.
Connor Perez
citra got updated, so there's that
Blake Parker
does it work properly in GLideN64?
Luis Moore
>windows 8 and up
Alexander Clark
Correct. More like the "is there NEs good games on this piece of shit?"
Luke Harris
Makes sense, there'd be no space for the images without the memory PAK
Evan Harris
>Imagine if people contributed to GLideN64 instead of whining about every minor regression. Imagine if GLideN64 was actually good enough to attract devs.
Meanwhile, other plugins will be worked on.
Anthony Scott
>being too poor to meet the requirements
Sour grapes
Oliver Lopez
>other plugins will be worked on. Like?
Lincoln Gray
That's actually really weird.
I wonder how they store the data for that? How are the thumbnails when you're looking at the whole album generated?
Isaiah Howard
>I wonder how they store the data for that It would take less space than storing them as textures In the current form they only need to store the camera position and the player's position/time as the game is on rails.
Hunter Thompson
It probably does take less space, but it's a lot more complicated than that.
You can actually interact with shit quite a bit and even slow down or speed up the car thing.
Plus there are particle effects and shit that you have to recreate exactly the same every time.
Henry Ward
I have no idea, I used Dolphin. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work, though.
All it really has to do is recall the camera's position and the presence and state of various objects (Pokemon, particle effects, fog, etc.) Plus it doesn't render the entire level either, since Pokemon Snap only renders what's in the camera's field of view. Everything behind the camera stops being rendered to save on processing power.
Adrian Harris
>Plus there are particle effects and shit that you have to recreate exactly the same every time. All of which are already in the cartridge and easily available. Even with external factors like speed and particle effects you'll be adding mere bytes to the save data.
Caleb Howard
>tfw PGXP doesn't work with Alien Resurrection Man what a shame
Ian Roberts
>the only PS1 emulator that supports the mouse peripheral is epsxe what the fuck
Logan Thompson
Can someone post the CEMU 1.7.4 news please?
Ryan Morris
there is nothing to post
Connor Thompson
What is this then?
Jacob Gutierrez
are those textures back there supposed to be like that or is pgxp making everything worse?
>Like? Like Glide64. zilmar and his talented team will make it great again!
There's also Angrylion's and ParaLLEl. Both have good potential.
Zachary Allen
Its the announcement of its release date which is 2nd of next month and a video to showcase its progress in zeldo
>is pgxp making everything worse? Its how the game looks normally. PGXP is supposed to fix exactly that. Sadly it doesn't work with the game at all.
Brody Hughes
Thanks
Carson Flores
20:36 I'm sorry to be negative sometimes BTW 20:36 to be truthful I wanted to work together with all these emudevs 20:37 ever since 2013 and 2014 though - both the'emudevs' and the guys on 4ch banded together to make that all impossible though 20:37 and I am just disgusted at what has become of this 'scene'
Jonathan Harris
Lol
Angel Johnson
>both the'emudevs' and the guys on 4ch banded together
Thomas Peterson
>both the'emudevs' and the guys on 4ch banded together to make that all impossible though >its not my fault I am an autistic piece of shit theres a reason that even reddit doesn't tolerate your presence SP and that is a place where having an emulator dev flair pretty much guarentees upvotes.
Leo Davis
Quick rundown on this guy?
Parker Lewis
don't bother
William Howard
...
Carson Gutierrez
Lol Thanks. So emu devs bow down to Turtle
Jack Scott
>SP is currently updating mednafen Saturn
B A S E D A S E D
Lincoln Barnes
>theres a reason that even reddit doesn't tolerate your presence SP
Because he doesn't circlejerk with the other emudevs?
Wyatt Kelly
He want to dominate them, but as a delta male he can only dominate Radius.
David Davis
He's already dominated byuu.
Does that byuu an epsilon male?
Julian Rogers
>Because he doesn't circlejerk with the other emudevs? he has his own circlejerk
John Sanchez
where and how do I use those gba color palletes?
Camden Howard
>Because he doesn't circlejerk with the other emudevs? Thats the entire point of Retroarch IRC
Levi Bennett
>that broken english Hello pajeet
John Carter
#retroarch isn't much of a circlejerk when there are people leaking everything you say in there 24/7
Justin Martin
I don't think you know what a circlejerk means. Just because others can see you jerking each other off doesn't mean it isn't happening.
