Those are just the ones I'm willing to purge, mostly untranslated titles, I've got a separate 30+ backlog of translated stuff I'm going to read.

Negative height does in fact make things out of place. You're gonna have to master some slider-fu to make a really small meido. I think my smallest is somewhere around 131cm at -19 height, and the animations seem to still go to the right place. You could probably tease it a bit lower, though.

Created not too long after Veeky Forums's creation as a way to have Artificial Academy threads on /v/ be more consistent. The trip user MrLightningBolt, or something along the lines of that name, was pretty much the original creator of the threads. It started to pick up more pace it started to accommodate more than just artificial academy, as I believe the original threads were just straight AA, but died too fast, which was then the push for a more encompassing thread.

At around the #50 or so point was when I started showing up, mostly as a jaded person from /vn/ who got both bitched at by people who complained about my blogposting of nukige, and out of respect for /vn/'s "This thread is for SFW VNs" attitude it had back (Not that those people are probably around anymore, given that blogposting and nukige show up a lot in /vn/ now a days).

Thread was mostly peaceful until AA2 was released and users got into a massive shitposting fest about wanting AA2 to be its own general, even though this general originally started as AA general, which caused a split into a new AA general, /hgg/, and /hgg2d/ (which originally was /hgg2/ if I recall right, and at some point /2dhgg/ or something along that lines) -- which comprised of jaded people who screech like an autistic at anything not RPG maker games with H elements, used to also cater to nukige as well but I pulled that plugged out of them a long time ago due to them being even bigger assholes than /vn/.

"Please pay your respects to our matron saint, Julie d'Aubigny." was added around the AA2 point in time, doubt more than a handful of people even know why it is there anymore.

People still shitpost about games ruining the general like AA2 did with other games like CM3D2. /hgg2d/ still lacks a reason to exist given that this general encompasses them, however, they are too far gone and too patriotic to their general, that should have never existed, to choose to re-merge their general with this one at this point.

/hgg2d/ has it's place and I'm happy that it's there.
You can usually get better discussion on HRPG games there than you would here since the discussion is more specialized and there's not "big" titles like here.

There was also /egg/ at some point, which was shot down for being incredibly retarded. Also /vhg/ has been dead since around the AA2 point, or just a bit before it. Either way it has found itself a little niche on 8's /hgg/. 8's /hgg/ was created about two years ago as a little offshoot experiment of sorts, to see if /hgg/ could exist as a board and not just one thread. Was slow for the first year, still is pretty sluggish, but it is also the fourteenth most active board on that site. Which both goes to show how dead as fuck that place is, but also how much of an interesting outcome the experiment had. One thing to note that I have noticed from that board though, is that its survival is truly more based on the activity of a handful of generals which are mostly western influence and not japanese (thus the association with the word "hentai" and not "porn"). It keeps the board afloat, but at the same time I think it goes to show that there is simply not that large of a group of people who either fiddle around with machine translators, or know japanese and wish to share their experiences from games and visual novels that are japanese language. Coincidentally it is the same reason this general is so consistently dead now a days, this place could never sustain itself with only nukige, the same way this place could never initially sustain itself with just Artificial Academy (I assume that who ever still keeps AA general alive on Veeky Forums, if it is alive, I'm not going to check, is through severe autism posting -- the likes of which matches /ksg/). This general is one that is broadly encompassing, because if it is too focused it cannot exist. Which is why when you find faggots trying to boot out games for "drowning out discussion" they are basically trying to kill the general.

I just got sidetracked by a lot of things, and have gone through multiple computers, which usually meant making them h-game ready, so I did not always have games I may have previously had or played. However for this attempt, I had saved and moved this MGQ data from my laptop to an external, so I'm not completely restarting. I was at start of the Sphinx Pyramid, and looking at save data time, I had not played since July of 2015.

I am actually just surrendering immediately now and then re-fighting to see the ending for the monsters, since I'm not sure if I can watch them again without having lost first. The sucking noises are really nice to the ears.
