Why do American cops all drive Ford Taurus?

Are they robo cop fanboys

ebin

Ford tried to shill the taurus as a police car with Robocop

it didn't work

but with the new taurus, they shilled it again and because they dont make crown vics anymore, they now all drive tauruses

All the cops here drive Chargers

Yeah all I see are chargers around here and sometimes Crown Vics still. Or some kinda fat-ass SUV.

I dont think I've ever seen a Taurus.

>Taurus
It's the Explorer that cops mainly use here.

Dead or alive you're coming with me

What poorfag city do you live in? All the Cops here Drive Chargers and Malibus.

Most of our cops still use old P71 cruisers

robocop's entire vocabulary is just taken from old judge dredd comics

WA state here

All the major police departments use either Explorers or Taurus's
With a handful of Malibus (like maybe 5%)

I've seen some of the more rural sheriff offices using chargers but that's kinda rare

There's still a few crown Vic's in service but they're the minority

Police here drive chebby tahoes

Highway patrol drive ford explorers

Mississippi here

All our cops drive AMG Mercs

Too bad they're slow as fuck compared to my 94 hatch

with a few simple mods?

Cops here drive

chargers, impala's and Ford explorers.

There are a few Taurus replacing the Impala's but they get like 2 chargers for every 1 impala that is replaced by a taurus.

They wanted to use the Caprice because in test the officers preferred it, but it got denied by fleet management due to the length of time to replace parts due to time to ship from Australia.

Around here I still see old rotted out pre 03 Vic's and old Tahoes

Georgia here-DeKalb County:
Caprice, Chargers, Crown Vics and Tahoes coming soon.

Miami here.

We got chargers and mustangs.

Chargers, explorers, Tahoe's, ice seen maybe two Tauruses.

Broward here, never seen a mustang police car

I often see chargers and explorers, but I feel most cop cars are still crown vics

I've seen a few oddities for undercover cops though, among them a Volkswagen Tiguan of all things

Only mustang police cars I've seen are unmarked. Weirdest unmarked I've see was a Dodge caravan

They drive a lot of Taurus's in cunuckistan. Most are the normal V6 and the Sargent's and a few brown nosers get the SHO. They're required to take a special driving driving course before they're allowed in the SHO's. Guess they're faster than a tricky vicky..

New York.

I'm telling you, Ford has shilled the new Taurus hard as a police car.

I still see Chargers, but instead of seeing Fusions which I used to see, I see many more Tauruses now

Office security: Ford Taurus
City police: Ford Explorer
Highway patrol: Tahoe/Charger
State fleet: Malibu/Volt/Explorer

At least that's they drive in Bismarck North Dakota

In my 3rd world country cops drive Dodge Chargers and Durangos, and Chevy Cruzes for local police.

I thought giving city cops SUVs was dumb and wasteful but the other day I saw a police Durango jump the curb and chase some guys all over the grass in some park, it was pretty cool.

Our highway patrol (AZ) has a yellow Mustang and a red Challenger they use.

I WAS DRIVING THROUGH MESA AZ AND SAW AN UNDERCOVER COP CAMRY WITH LIGHTS ON

>be small American
>need big truck
