You take like 5 hearts of damage from them, it's a non issue and fighting lynels is easy as shit anyways

Anyone else purposely crippling themselves for more interesting combat? I really like this game, but the difficulty kind of just wore down after a while. I died a few times early game, but now its just coming down to whether or not I have enough food to beat an enemy. I'm at the point where I'm running into situations unprepared for a challenge.

I don't mind being able to limit myself, but I really hope that hard mode adds in some more challenge. What I want to see more is better combat AI. Don't get me wrong, its amazing already, but I'm getting hungry for more.

I'm grinding rupees right now while reading lozg. At 13,818.

Sort of, I wear unupgraded armour sometimes for the challange of it. It's really hard to die in this game since in the beginning everything keeps you at 1/4 heart before dying, and after that you just pick up faeries and shitloads of food.

I died twice in the game, once during the beginning trying to be smart shitter against a guardian on the plateau, and once in the Yiga hideout becuase I went in gunsblazing

That just becomes H stuff. Fan service is called fan service for a reason, but yes. All ecchi or harem anime is complete blue balls. Especially if based on an LN since anime adaptations are just commercials for it so the real lewds are in the book.

I'm having more fun than ever now that I started playing procure-on-sight. Enter enemy camps unarmed, find a weapon on the ground or from disarming an enemy, use it until it breaks, repeat. Feels like it was the way the game was meant to be played desu.

They really didn't commit to challenging the player this game. Like they were afraid of taking it one step further. Still a step above many modern games including everything after LttP but yellow hearts preventing OHKO and that iframes grace period of getting up after you've been knocked around were way too forgiving.

Improvements to rods and boomerangs are definitely a must for next game. The durability system is in place to make you use lots of different weapons, so they should at least have more viable weapon types. Clubs and axes already are just reskinned broadswords.

I think those were the majority of my deaths as well. I went to Gerudo right after Kakariko, which after playing all of the areas of the game, I've discovered that Gerudo is the hardest. I want to start buying and coloring different tiers of armor sets. Like designating red as high armor, then blue as medium, green as medium-easy, and brown or grey as easy.

That's actually a really cool idea, I've upgraded my weapon slots heavily and use the weapons like a conveyer belt. I might just item dump once I enter a new area.

Being able to dye it green would've made it literally perfect, but they could've at least made us able to dye Wild Cap to that shade of blue

I'm a bit more forgiving on that because it's still leaps and bounds more challenging than basically any other modern game other than Souls.

It definitely needs a real hard mode that's totally unforgiving.
