You're most likely not braindead and have already grasped this, but in xiv, a healer's job isn't to keep everyone topped off(except for certain circumstances) but to make sure nobody dies. If DPS is bitching about ever dipping below 35%, lol and tell them to suck eggs since the tank is basically the main person you'll be assaulting with Cure

Sch is also really fun to play and yeah there will be a lot of times when you get shit on since the tank didn't use a cooldown or a dps just standing in the fire. I enjoy dpsing as a healer, but for some i know it ain't they're thing. pretty amazing when you beat the dps's dps in expert.
