It's not a problem off-road, it's a problem when you want to use the vehicle for anything on road. Which is 90% of the time.
Or in the case of Wranglers, 99% of the time.
Sorry KKK, but modern Wranglers are fucking trash. SFA and SRA aside, their quality and durability is shit-tier at this point. Everything FCA makes is pure garbage, the only thing still selling Jeeps is marketing.
head unit broke :(
I can't argue with you on road
That being said the only newer cars I could consider myself buying for some reason would be a challenger r/t or a 500 abarth. And I dislike Mopar compared to Ford.
old manual wranglers are GOAT, but I agree on everything else you say.
local bike shop has an old CJ partially disassembled out in the middle of their bay. I spent awhile looking at it.
I would absolutely buy a proper Willies/AMC CJ.
But nothing from the current Chrysler era, they're just trash.
On-road is where people spend the vast majority of their time with a Jeep or an FJ Cruiser, and Toyota took note of this. I've driven a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited and a 2010 FJ, and the FJ handled noticeably better. Both had A/T tires on them, but the Wrangler was heavy and slow as fuck, and it felt like you were going to break something with every turn of the wheel. FJs are solid, and they're going to be highly coveted now that Toyota stopped making them.

>i-VTEC
Why the fuck do I see that on so many Civics, it's not VTEC and it's not an Si. Not that the latter are anything to brag about, but who gives a fuck if your engine has some form of electronic valve timing. You'd be hard pressed to find a vehicle that doesn't for fuck's sake.
