Somebody on /co/ compared Mega Mini to a net navi or a cyber elf and somebody replayed to him with "Don't use those cool adjectives to describe that thing"
And that just makes things worse because it shows that the problem with mega mini is not the concept but the execution.

As the person who made the comparison (I said he's like a NetNavi mixed with a Biometal), what makes it bad is that it's an awful mix. Mega Mini being sentient and permanently merged with Aki isn't nice to think about.

But he's not permanently merged. Remember the original teaser art? Mini was emerging from from Aki's helmet.

Didn't Protodude say something about Mega Mini having a hologram feature?
Either way, it still looks like he's in Aki's brain all the time.

Konosuba produced a better megaman clone/platform shooter than Capcom and Inafune in the last decade
Face it, Megaman is dead, it's original creator and company are full of shit

Sad but true. The series has had a good run, too bad Capcom doesn't want it to go out quietly.
I'm not putting any hope whatsoever in the franchise going anywhere after the cartoon and will just enjoy what we have.

My peeve with megamini is because he looks and may sound preachy and annoying and will probably be over-used.
Biometals weren't like that, Netnavis weren't like that.
I'm really afraid that Megamini will be a fusion of Scrappy Doo and Lisa Simpson.

Well, Sonic the Hedgehog #293 is "to be resolicited" but Mega Drive Overdrive and Sonic the Hedgehog Volume 5 are straight up listed as cancelled. No word on Universe.
